My WA Adventure
First of all let me try to make a commitment to this blog. I have started so many blogs in the past to let them die. So first thing I need a timeline. I will commit to writing at least once a week every Thursday. Second what is this blog about? Well me and my journey with Wealthy Affiiate.
I started my journey looking for a way to make money while staying at home. My daughter has had several medical issues and I do not feel comfortable leaving her alone or without close help. We live in a town of about 30 people way out in the middle of nowhere. I do have a full time stay at home job that at least pays for insurance and covers the main bills so I am not desperate to make money fast. I want to do this correctly to build an income that I can maintain well into my 70's.
When I went into the site I saw the Las Vegas trip. And I thought yes maybe next year. Let me do this slowly and on my timeline. I have found that in doing this I sit on the couch alot and watch Netflix. Not that Netflix is a bad thing it is great when you need just some veg time. But that is the last thing I need. I need to get off my butt and get to work.
When I told my husband about the Las Vegas trip he said you know someone is going to win that trip, in fact many will. And it might be their first year doing this as well. What do they have that you do not? More time? Smarter? Well probably smarter but I have time I just waste it. So he challenged me to go for it. I may not get it but I am going to give it my best shot.
So my commitment to WA is to get up each day, log in, do the day's training, and promote the site. And I am now challenging you to do the same. Hopefully I will see some of you all in Vegas!

Imagine if you dedicated all of your time that you invested in Netflix to your business. I know when I started out I was full time in college and I thought I had very limited time...through studying, through assignments/labs, through trying to have a social life on top of this.
As I dedicated more time and saw more results within my business, I realized that during an 18 hour period in a day I was able to free up a of time to dedicate to my business. Here we are 13 years later being full time, I haven't looked back.
Smarter or more time is not the reason some people achieve success and some don't. Hard work and persistence is and that is honestly the formula that you need to apply to this business..everything else you need is included for you here within WA.
I really look forward to working with you in the year ahead and I know you can achieve Vegas if you truly set your mind to it!

I imagine it could get pretty easy to just veg out when you are in such a small community like you are...but good on you for not settling for that.
