I would create a Fan Page to go along with your Blog (Website).
You can post links to your blog/ blog posts on your Facebook fanpage.
You can of course use your personal Facebook page to like your fanpage.
You can then use your Facebook fanpage to attract traffic to your blog pages.

Thanks so much for that. Yes, you're right. I completely forgot about asking my personal FB friends to like my fan page.
I'd rather keep my personal page personal.
