Count your blessings
Hello WA, I hope you all are having a great Saturday. I sure am. The last few days have been crazy here at home, prepping for family coming over and studying for my last CNA exam.
This Year has been with ups and downs, highs and lows, but one thing that has helped me is writing. Writing my site, working on my books, and so much more writing things.
So, I would love to know what you are thankful for.
Here is my list of five things I am thankful for.
- My mom and dad, who have always been willing to do anything for me, even when I was waiting on my papers, never gave up, even when I wanted to.
- My friends. My karate friends have helped me understand who I am, and they have been there for me through the toughest times. My karate teachers have become like my second mom and dad, they are just amazing people.
- My Siblings. Even though they aren't living here anymore, I try my best to text them, asking how life is, and I always end our message with "I love you."
- My Bunny Loki. 🥰 After losing my dog back in April, I felt like I was in a fog where I wasn't happy. I looked like it on the outside, but inside, I was crushed. Then, I met my little boy in July at a rabbit show, and getting him has made me so happy sometimes; when I look at him, I feel tears in my eyes because he doesn't have to do much to make me smile.
- My website. I have done so much with it, and even when I am a nurse, I'll still try to keep writing for it part-time.
This is a Doe we got for him this past Tuesday.
So, what are you thankful for? You don't have to have five things, but just give me one thing you are thankful for.
Have a great weekend!

I'm so glad to hear that things are going so well for you. Lots of ups and downs this year for sure, but honestly, that's how life works. It's how we respond that makes all the difference. Congrats to Loki on his new friend!
I'm most grateful that after working on it for almost a year, our site is now live as of a week ago. We hadn't touched it since 2017, when it was just about 50 pages, but we were still getting about 40-80 visitors/week. Now it's updated and almost 300 pages. I can't wait to see what happens next!
Great message, Rebekah! Gee, I have so many things to be thankful for...here are a few.
I am so glad I decided to learn about the internet and found WA. It's given me a reason and a way to do something worthwhile in my later years. I can still contribute much of value...plus, it keeps my brain functioning well, which is a blessing as we age. I am still alert and able to learn new things, plus I'm able to use my creativity and imagination, even as I age a bit each day. The body might not be much any more, but the mind is still sharp. For that I am grateful.
I am thankful for my cat. He can be a little pill, but he gives me so much pleasure and companionship. Since I live alone, he's a decided blessing.
Of course, I'm thankful for this little community. It may be small, but folks look out for each other. I've never lived in a more caring place. That in itself is a wonderful benefit.
I'm thankful to live in a place that I love. I have been to many places and lived in quitea few, but am so happy I've ended up in Alaska. What a good decision it was for me to come here!
All in all, I am so glad that life still continues and that I can still enjoy waking up each day and discovering something new and wonderful with each new dawning. What a world! How fortunate I am!
Thanks for asking.
I'm thankful for this great affiliate called Wealthy Affiliate, thankful for our great community we have here.

What a nice post Rebekah. Made me think about a lot of things, and it goes beyond five.
Thank you.

That’s a great list, Rebekah! There are so many things to be thankful for but topping my list is family, freedom, my health and my pets.

Awesome, Rebekah! I'll make this short and sweet! I am thankful for every single day that I wake up! After that, everything else is pure gravy! Keep being thankful! That is the Key!
