I feel like I'm running now!

So, about three weeks ago I started my starter membership here at Wealthy Affiliate. I started out walking at a good pace...one step at a time...one training video at a time. Kyle walked me through the set-up process, as he does all of us. It was excellent and I was going steady...

I had my water with me and took a gulps along the way...(had to make sure that was with me, or else I would have dried out a bit, mentally speaking.)

As I started learning about domains and general site-building (which was so easy thanks to Kyle. :) I picked up some speed, there was some momentum, but I wasn't premium yet...so there were a few road blocks ahead. I couldn't get a domain (.com) name....I knew what my niche was and I didn't want anything holding me back.

I thought about it....talked to my wife (who is always super-supportive!) And now...no more road blocks for me... I'm going premium!

So, now.... I'm jogging! Still have my water with me and figuring out how manage my jogging speed and not run out of breath (managing life and this new online business endeavor.) How does that work? Well, with careful planning and practice I'm able to concentrate on jogging and breathing! Making sure I schedule some time every day to writing!

Okay..so now that I'm jogging and breathing and I think I've got the hang of it...I might want to start running a bit (test myself.) Into my 2nd week (now a premium member) I've created my 1st post! Well...it took a while (about 2 hours)....but I realized I love writing and it was fun to research and write about my topic (foam rollers). I posted the 1st blog post and realized people were commenting on it!

That was exciting! No ... I wasn't making any money...no, I wasn't indexed yet, but reaching out to people and answering questions was AWESOME! So, ....now, what do I do?

I keep running! I pick up the pace!!!!

Yesterday, I wrote my 2nd post! This time... I had to write it a bit at a time (150 words a day throughout the week.) It took longer, but it was written! I now have been commenting and giving feedback on others' websites and I'm really enjoying that! As well as getting feedback and comments for mine.

I'm not out of breath yet....and guess what?

I'm STILL RUNNING...because it's not a race, but it's a marathon... a steady pace and determination is all you need.
