My Default Affiliate link keeps pointing to a defunct website. I need the link to my current, working website here on WA. Any suggestions?
Are you asking about your WA affiliate link, like this one:
http : // www. wealthyaffiliate .com ? a_aid = xxxxxx
If so, the above link will take visitors to the WA main home page and the letters at the end enable the cookies to track your ID as the referrer.
The link to your working site here at WA would be your own domain:
http ; // your domain name dot com
And you would post your WA affiliate links on your website so when a visitor at your site clicks on the link, they will be sent to the WA site.
Is this what you are asking about?

Not understanding...
Your WA link is the same. You cannot change the link.
If you moved your own domain, it will follow with it.
I'm sorry. I'm not making myself very clear. My domain is changed. But my Affiliate Link keeps holding on to my old domain and is not taking up my newer domain/more recent website. Ragnhild
Hello! So we are forgetting the old website. Just add the WA link to your only used site. Did I get it? LOL!
Gosh, I think so. I had a website 'wealthgatherer.com', let it go, no content now. Have a new one, 'rdmoneymoon.com' with content. Now, my Affliate Link shows 'wealthgatherer...'. See my problem? Ragnhild
No, I didn't see an issue. The first website is gone...don't worry about that one. Now, let's add your WA link to the latter.
The first website was moved...correct? That's gone now.
Your only website is rdmoneymoon.com and the website looks good. Just add your WA links.

Thank you. That's correct and all working fine, except that the link is embedded in a website of mine which no longer exists and I am unable to embed the WA link into my other website which is here on WA

As soon as I tried to configure SEO plugin I got error message 'not sufficient permissions...' One kind WA member had suggestion. Didn't work. No luck with PW either. What now?<
When you are logging in through the site manager are you logging into your admin account?
