What do I get for following someone?
I only joined last week and have found following people gets you a lot of support when you need it
Hey Charles
You get a new friend ;)
Seriously though, You will find the members here are all out to help and learn from one another.
The more people you follow, the more you are able to reach and the faster they will reach you when you ask for help... Like you did with this post.
Welcome to the family. You are in for a fantastic journey!
Let me know if you ever need a hand.
Cheers,
Marc Parsons

What is the story on following a member?
What do I get for following someone?
Following people enables a few things to happen -
- You can read the profiles and start to build connections with people of a similar interest.
- You can follow expertise and find members that have been done this for a long time (and/or speak sense)
- You can seek advice as the others have said and get a response back quickly
- You can start to interact with people and not feel so isolated whilst working on your own site
- for some people who may not be that familiar with social media this is also a way to learn about the dynamics of groups forums.
It's an interesting model at WA because internet marketing can be quite competitive and yet learning the skills is being promoted as very community based.
Like all businesses it's about building up your potential client base and support systems.
