Another Great Month - July Progress Report
Last Update: Aug 4, 2018
Last month I gave an update on my earnings for the month of June (View June Report). If you’re interested in getting a breakdown of my journey to this point, I would highly recommend taking a look at my June report. It will give you an idea of how I got to where I am now.
For this July report, don’t expect it to be as in depth as June, but still inspiring enough for those lacking motivation.
Not sure how long I will keep up with these updates, but if people continue to ask for them, then I guess I owe it to this wonderful community to keep it going.
For those that are wondering, my site is a niche site and not an MMO site. I won’t get into the products or services I promote, but know that it deals with weight loss.
Took me a while to figure out this niche, even though I’m a personal trainer, but success is starting to make its presence.
July Stats - Quick Overview
Last month I was about $3 short of hitting the 8k mark. So my expectations for July was to finally hit 5 figures somewhere around 10k.
Surprisingly July exceeded my expectations, and I was able to more than double my June earnings making $16,766.23. Was really hoping to hit the 17k mark, but can’t complain too much.
As I’ve gone through this journey here at WA, I’ve always said that if I can make $100 in a month, then I can make $200 the following month.
If I can make $1000 in a month, then I can make $2000 the next. I’m sure you get the point. I pretty much feel I can double my earnings from month to month.
Although I don’t expect to do that for August, but this is the mentality everyone should have when it comes to their online business, because the online world provides you with so much opportunity to make good money.
So how was I able to double my earnings from June to July?
Well I didn’t really do anything special. The most significant change I saw was my traffic doubling as well.
The majority of my traffic comes from referrals. Primarily from the affiliate merchant where most of my sales are made.
The Director of development for that merchant contacted me, and I was able to get a couple of my articles featured within their blog. Thus getting my article atop the google searches.
Quick tip: if you’re making sales for any of your current affiliate merchants. Ask them if you could get one of your articles featured within their blog. If they have one of course.
The great thing about affiliate marketing is that it doesn’t take much capital to get started. My expense for this site is my yearly membership and domain name here at WA. That’s less than $400 each year to maintain this site.
Now I do plan on using the money i’m making with this site, to work on my next site which I will get into next.
What I’m Currently Working On
I’ll admit, because my niche site is making me good money, it has made me a bit complacent. I haven’t been writing many articles for it, which concerns me a bit since that merchant is my main source of income.
But i’m confident that it will provide me income for many months, if not years while I work on other streams of revenue.
In the meantime, I am working on my MMO site which will promote WA. Although 2018 isn’t over, my goal is to get it ready for 2019, so that I can make it to Vegas in 2020. So looking into investing in some paid themes and learning more about email marketing.
First I have to get traffic to my site so that involves creating a lot content. Trying to avoid slacking off due to my current success with my niche site. Just gotta stay focused on the goal which is Vegas and I should be alright. But it is nice to not have that urgency of needing money so far.
Again, I’m not sharing this all with you to brag or anything. Just hoping to provide some motivation for those still searching for their own level of success.
My advice is to put in the effort, never give up, and don’t be afraid of trying new things. Also, follow the training and you will eventually figure it all out. I’m sure you’ve heard all of this before, but believe me when I say that it truly does work.
Just gotta be patient and put in the work. Also, I would recommend taking a look at my June report to get a feel for how I got to where I am. Everyone has their own way to reach their level of success, so just continue to put in the work.
