Writing for a newspaper!
I am a beekeeper! My niche is honeybees. But my self-doubt immobilizes me on my writing techniques. Since I've started at WA I also volunteer to help out kids and it requires me to write court reports (long story). All of this to say I have gotten the experience and the positive mindset to write. Writing doesn't scare me anymore.
Being a beekeeper in a small town, honeybees are affected by other hives that are infested with these red bugs called varroa mites. I wanted other beekeepers and people in my small town to be made aware of this as well as to educate them about honeybees. So I asked the owners of a local newspaper if I could write an article every month and they said YES!
And AND they gave me 500 words for free once I told them my purpose behind it. All of this to say that when I sat down to write 500 words, it came SOOO easy! 500 was only half of what I write for each article at WA!! Lol!
I'm very proud of myself.

Indeed ! It is amazing that when you do it so often, it becomes so easy! And the words just fall in your lap (literally in the tip of your fingers, as you tap your keyboard)
