Affiliate Marketing Strategies - 3 Simple Steps

As many of you know, I have beed involved with Affiliate Marketing for a very long time. Since 2005 to be exact. It has taken me way too long to earn a full time income from the comforts of my home, though, mainly because of a lack of focus and the tendency to chase the bright shiny object.

It wasn't until late 2019 that I started earning a full time income from home and during this time, I realized that my success was based on three main affiliate marketing strategies. They sound simple, but when put into practice work very well to help with the ALL important focus.

So, let's dig right in to the first affiliate marketing strategy that I feel is very important:

Affiliate Marketing Strategy #1 - Work On You

Not only does this pertain to overall mindset, but it also pertains to constantly learning new skills.

There is a very important reason I consider this number 1. This is because it is very, very important to work on your affiliate marketing skills and to invest in those skills. We have a huge amount of opportunitiey to do that here as WA and I want to REALLY stress this. For example, Jay (Magistuidios) has an amazing new training coming up this month and if you are not planning on going through this training, well, you just are not serious about Affiliate Maketing.

Affiliate Marketing Strategy #2 - Drive traffic to Your Money Pages

Many affiliate marketers consider this the number 1 strategy, and I believe they are wrong. Driving traffic to your money pages is actually quite easy to do. Following the strategies taught here at Wealthy Affiliate teaches you how to do this in a variety of ways. There is content creation, list building, video marketing, Pay Per Click, purchasing traffic, and, one of my favorites, writing product reviews.

But, the secret is focusing on strategy number 1 - Work on You. If you focus on that, you will, by default, drive traffic to your money pages. This is true for ALL niches. In my opinion working on you can be done by three main activites.

One, is going through the Entreprenuer certification training here at WA and two, is becomeing a Premium Member and taking advantage of the Classes offered to Premium members, and three, attend the live WABinars that Jay (magistudios) does each week. If you cannot make them live, then view the recordings in your back office here at WA.

Affiliate Marketing Strategy #3 - Converting you Traffic Into Sales

Again, to master affiliate marketing stragey #3, you need to, yes, WORK ON YOU! It is that important. Go through the Core training here at WA (certification training or Affiliate Bootcamp), attend the weekly WAbinars, and leverage the Premium Classess offered at WA.

There are many ways to convert your traffic into sales. Content creation is just one of those ways, there are others, like list buiding, using the blogging platform within WA and many others. As I look through the Classess offered here in the WA platform, I can see that converting traffic is covered quite well. Keep in mind, many of these classess are delivered by Super Affiliates that know how this is done. They are not just teachers, they are practicing what they teach. This is one of the things that is exclusive to WA's training is that the subject matter being taught is not just theory, it is what works today. It is a foundational approach to affiliate marketing and it simply WORKS.
