My WA Case Study Month 1 – It’s Not Always An Easy Journey

Well folks, January has come and gone, and I promised an update on my own personal Wealthy Affiliate journey.
It’s been a month of insane deadlines, time management issues, and more than just a few setbacks along the way.
Where I Stand in the Training

As of this morning, I’m getting ready to take on phase 2 lesson 8. While this may sound like quite a bit of progress forward, I found myself stuck on lesson six for about a week and ½ this month.
Honestly, this is because of my own time management issues. I had quite a bit of freelance work this last month, and so my own goals went on the back burner a bit too much.

My original goal was to do 50,000 words of content monthly, and unfortunately, I fell significantly short by only completing just over 6200 words of content for my own site.
Why am I sharing all of this with you?

Well, I want everyone to know that sometimes the journey down the road of success can be fraught with the flat tires of our own shortcomings.
I refuse to allow the setbacks that I’ve experienced in one month hold me back for the rest of this case study. I’m approaching February with fresh outlook and a stronger drive for pushing forward.
There Is Exciting News to Share As Well
By no means have things been all doom and gloom. I’m quite excited by a couple of things that have happened in the last month.
First, my site is indexed, and I’m already ranking for a couple of different terms. One of which was very competitive, and I expected to have to do significantly more work than I already have two even show up on the search engines for the term in the first place.
Presently, I’m in position 46 for the competitive term, and position 56 for another term that I was targeting.
No, this isn’t ideal, and there still a lot of room to move forward, but the bottom line is that the site is already ranking long before I ever thought it would.
This is part of what is fueling me to push forward harder than ever, and hopefully have a much better update for all of you as we head into March.
Second, I was accepted into the Super Affiliate group along with several others this month!
That gives me even more renewed passion about making this project a success. I know that we all have the potential to do this, it's just about making it happen!
Goals for This Month
I refuse to back down from my original goal of creating 50,000 words of unique content for my websites in a single month. I know, it sounds crazy, but I’m going to get there.
Also, I’m hoping to work my way through phase 3 of the boot camp during the month of February.
If everything pans out well, then perhaps I can even push forward a little further than that, but we all must start with a goal in mind.
Again, I wanted to share my first month’s results with all of you because I know in the future there will be far greater successful posts following this one, but it’s important to know that even when there are bumps in the road, you can still push forward to reach your dreams.
Best wishes to everyone as we all head into February, and I hope that you all check back next month to see where things are headed.
Thanks for following along,
Tony
