URGENT: Still not making any money... what am I not doing correctly?

Hi,

I've been 'doing' Internet marketing for a while now but still not getting anywhere. Here are the blogs and websites that I've created so far for your evaluation.

If you guys can tell me how to start monetising these or what radical changes I need to make then it will be much appreciated, and you will be life savers. I seriously need to start create extra income source whilst I am looking for a decent paying job and studying. I also, obviously, a desire a much higher quality of life and this (along with trading, which I don't have $100k account for to make a decent income) is the only way that I know of, and that I am relatively skilled at and enjoy.

I realise now that the material is not great and there is a massive room for improvement, so this is also why I am desperately asking this question.

Thanks everybody, and best of luck to all fellow marketers!

Appreciate all the honest advice everybody. I am currently working on a new niche and will improve the first site in due course as I gain more skills.

Wish you the best of luck..but all good things take time, focus on your content and giving your visitors a reason to stay and read. I have to agree with everyone on the second site, I can't even look at it, Google Chrome blocked it because it says it's got malware ahead, suspicious... If Google is alerting customers of this you are not going to get the visitors and Google probably won't give your site rankings..

Try and remove www.cash3.info It says that it's a known malware distributor.

Both sites don't do it for me either - One too much too quick, and the other could be more informative..... HGH is an awesome subject ti enlighten the public on an could be handled better..... *Strongs* :)

@SpiritRocker............ HGH has been around for over 60 + years...... It actually started up as a solution to dwarfism (they extracted the pituitary glands from unborn sheep, and injected it into humans to make them grow..... It also depended on the type of dwrfism, as some could be saved , while others couldn't. The original HGH was then man=made (for the obvious reasons) and has actually become a HUGE seller for the "fountain of youth" aspect - Besides the fact that it can add inches to your stature if you're still growing..... and yes, some adults ARE still growing..... I hope this has been an enlightening journey for you :)

I can appreciate that. However, I think the general public would not know that. The first impression, and a lack of uncommon knowledge on the subject might make it...unbelieveable (for lack of a better word). I think perhaps a lot more information presented in a believable way would help the site a lot. You can find a lot of technical stuff if you dig into the site, but if you don't have a reason to dig, you'll never see it. I can see if someone actively seeking information and knowing more than I do about the subject may not have the same reaction I did. Not having "researched" the subject it (the first impression of the site) appeared to me to be smoke and mirrors or sideshow tonic sales. I can appreciate that there is much more to it, and certainly hope ralawami can make something more of it.

I checked the seconds site and got a warning from google chrome...:/

Same here Darlene..Have to hit X at that point

I haven't made any $ online either, so I don't really have much personal experience to offer. Though it does remind me of something Kyle said in a video here - went something like; All the people he knew who were (financially) successful online, were so because money was not a main objective until further down the track. Unless of course they were just con men or scammers. I think you have to offer value first (as mentioned in previous comments), and then maybe the money may follow - later.

Hi Riyadh
I don't want to try and put you down in any way but it's really important that you create sites that will offer value to your visitors.

The first site - what do you really hope from that.? In all honesty I wouldn't try and pursue it.

I am afraid I am with Gary - I think your second site is bordering on spam and I find it possible to advise you at all.

It appears (though I might be being incredibly unfair and I apologise if I am) - that your focus is on making money and you haven't absorbed enough of the training and what you need to do to build a successful site - that's a pity because you clearly have the skills to do so. Trying to make quick money rarely works.

Problem 1: Lack of traffic.
Solution: I think you'd be better off obtaining advice from Kyle & Carson regarding that.

Problem 2: Deficient monetization
Solution: Test different monetization methods to see what makes you the most money, e.g. Adsense, Skimlinks, CPA, affiliiate marketing, etc.

The biggest culprit is the first one, i.e. lack of traffic. Without traffic you ain't going nowhere and you ain't making no money no matter the quality of your content and the effectiveness of your monetization methods.

Well, first I'm trying to figure out if you are serious or not.

The first site is just ... well ... silly. If you truly expect to monetize that, then best of luck to you.

The second is bordering on Spam for this site. I'll leave it to others to determine that. but the promise of get rich quick does not entice intellegent of money spending individuals. Please do not post links to sites competing with WA. Just sayin'

Yeah, the first site does look awful in retrospect. It was more of a 'history' to what I've done to date than anything.

How is the second site spam?

I am actually trying to monetise the first site, so I need advice on how I could make it stop being 'silly' and actually attract customers.

Well, spam may have been a bit of a harsh term. but it does seem like you are promoting other online marketing sites which are in diorect compitition with WA. Not that this is a real problem, because nobody really compares.

I think the big question on that sitre would be have you done the three steps in all your content - 1) identify a problem or desire of the reader 2) discuss the options and information regarding this problem in multiple posts of quality content 3) provide a solution to the readers problem. If you can do that and the third item can be monetized you should do ok. It's all about a lot of regularly posted content with the low hanging fruuit keywords. Static pages don't create much traffic these days.

I'm very sure the first site has a high bounce rate. I'd recommend that he changes his homepage to a blog-style one and focus on improving most of his content. The niche site creation webinars available here will help him a lot.

My first thought when I saw it was "Is this for real?" I could not fathom how it could physically and financally be done - growing taller that is. If figured it was a complete ruse. I've never heard of the possibility except in Science fiction movies. I think that is going to be your first and biggest problem - getting people to believe it is a serious website. I'm sure there are many vertically challenged people out there that want to believe there is a way to get taller. Convincing them I guess would be the challenge. Regular blogs about the problems and possible remidies would be the first place to start. Getting traffic is your aim - monetization will follow if you can find a financially feasable way to solve the problem in the process. Regularly updated content using good keywords, lots of them, gets you traffic.

The homepage keywords for the first site are ok. Not too competitive.

Based on your observations, the grow taller niche is definitely a bad and spammy niche.

@Ralawami Why don't you start with Amazon's affiliate program promoting physical products that people are bound to buy online without question?

There really is no "bad niche". Just a bad exicution of promoting it. It can be made better, but you do need to find a way to get products you can expect people to buy and sign up for an affiliate program that sells them in order to properly monetize.
