What a Week
December Greetings to all at WA.
Introduction:
The title says it all, I have barely stopped all week, with minutes galore taking pride of place, Friday night was very pleasant as I attended as a guest the switching on of the Christmas Lights.
Being Honored:
When I was greeted by the Chief Executive of the local Council, he kindly informed me that whilst I was stepping done from my post as Membership Council, that I would be on the Council's 'A' list for invitations as long as wanted to be, as a thank you from the Council for all that I have done for the District.
It makes me feel very humble to hear remarks like that.
Yesterday was family time, going with my son and youngest grandson to the football, in the evening I was joined in the local pub by my son-in-law and eldest grandson, who was over for the night. So a really pleasant day.
Today was uplifting as I was invited to represent the Royal British Legion by the local Messiah Choral Society at their annual production of Handel's wonderful Oratorio 'Messiah'. As the invited guest I was introduced before the performance started, very nice but not needed.
It was a truly uplifting performance, with four outstanding soloists, choir and orchestra. I was delighted to see that the trumpeter was someone that I worked with over ten years ago and had not seen since. When I hear the 'Hallelujah' chorus it really fills my soul, so truly inspiring as I think most of the work is.
Despite my full week have managed to work on my project, content being added daily, even if it is in small doses. It will take a while to finish all the bits that are required, the pleasing thing is that I am working on it daily, so the planner still works, this must be a record for me, having a planner, filling it and sticking to it for this length of time. I usual get bored and do something completely alien to the plan.
Have also managed to post the odd blog on the website, amazed to see that Google have ranked it already.
Forgive more for this week as the 'Old Man' is feeling tired and would like to go back to the project.
Until the next time
Stuart

Well done Stuart great to see your still on track, I’ve been away from it all for a while, unfortunately things happen in life and not always the way I want them but I’m back to make it work
