Top 100 - Again!
Introduction
Good afternoon everyone, as always do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well, that is right afternoon on a Friday.would like to say that I am ahead of myself, truth is I have had one of those weeks.
Fed up, lethargic and spending time procrastinating, do not ask why, as I cannot answer the question.

When I read that I often think if only life was that simple, but I suppose it can be if you work hard enough at getting rid of, not only your stress, but problems in general.
Suppose one of the bright spots of the week was being told that I have made the top 100 again, still not quite sure how I do these things, but it is nice to know, considering the elite company that I now keep.
My desktop computer went again on Wednesday evening, luckily I spotted where I was at the time on the web, took it in yesterday and it was fixed pretty quickly, complete with the comment that it was a dodgy site, will reveal all in the section below.
General
For sometime I have been using an advertising outlet called "Free Advertising For You" also known as FAFY, at times my security has advised me of some problems with some of the sites that advertise on there, this is where the big crash came from the other night. My advice be careful if you use them, it is not the site, but the users or advertisers that appear to have malware, they may not even know about. Needless to say that this site has been consigned to the dustbin.
Have been advised that the odd problem can also occur on Facebook, so for now I am not using that either.
As a result I am increasing my security even more, it is just not worth running the risk of the computer getting even more problems, it is could also get costly.
The Past Few Days
In some ways feel that I have not done a great deal, in other ways, I can see a few green shoots in my attempts to build my business. As always pay a daily visit to live chat.
Published another article on my Family History Website, with some really interesting comments. A couple of my articles have been indexed on Google, which whilst it is nice, not quite sure what I am doing right to get there in the first place. Appreciate that it is supposed to be based on keywords and other things, but I am afraid that I just write what I want too.
Had a few email chats with my mentor, who has helped me with a couple of questions which I had, he does speak a lot of common sense and has some very good ideas. Slowly getting to grips with my first project, in addition to the manuscript, have also begun to work on the Power Point Presentation that I have to do as well, finding it easier to do the two almost side by side.
My mentor is also teaching me to copyright properly, that is beginning to be good fun.
As I will also have to do a video style presentation, bought myself a microphone so that I can do speak overs, let the fun, or battle commence. It is very slow going, which probably accounts for my mood, but if a job is worth doing, it is worth doing well. In case you are wondering my computer is so old it does not have a microphone attached.
Not sure if I mentioned it before, but this presentation and the next two, have to have their own domain and website, to enable me to sell the product(s). With being with Wealthy Affiliate, I did buy some domains just in case I needed them, these have not been launched onto the web yet, so I am using them for these projects. This has saved me the trouble of buying domains and hosting.
When I work out some of the almost hidden savings that I get here, it does work out to being even more worthwhile being a member, not to mention the company that I get to keep.
Did have three dozen Geranium plug plants arrive yesterday, so will need to plant them up when I finish these few notes.
One bit of good news which has cheered me up, is that County Cricket will be returning in May, it is restricted to Members only, but it will be nice to be able to get out in the sunshine again and relax. Think that it will feel as if the world is returning to normal once more, though I doubt that it ever will properly
The Next Few Days
The weather could play a part here as I do need to get on with sorting the garden out, before it reverts back to nature and becomes a jungle once more. Have managed to weed and sort out my main herbaceous bed, have got some gaps, so will be ordering some more plants, to change the scenery a little.
Will continue to work on my projects, this reminds me, I did not add anymore advertising this week, will try to do that when I get a minute, yes, I know, make time.
In addition to the work set by mentor, must not lose sight of the Family History, or in fact the site that virtually runs itself, need to pay that a visit o make sure that it is still running smoothly.
How can I possibly get fed up, when I can think of so much that needs doing. lol!
Conclusion
Despite my own feelings and general could not care less attitude this week, do feel, having read my notes again, that things are not really that bad. Possibly a little down with lock down getting to me.
Still the clocks go forward on Sunday, giving more daylight in the evening, and the drab nights will be no more for a while at least.
It is possible that I could visit my little studio (the old summerhouse) at the bottom of the garden and do some painting, something that I have not done for quite a while, do find it very therapeutic as I do when I meditate.

Glad you got away from that site!
When folks offer something for free online, there's usually a catch. Some are benign, like giving your email to get something for free. Others, though, as more dire, like free emoji's but also getting hidden malware when you download the package. Worst yet, you agreed to it when you accepted the emoji's!
There truly is no free lunch. Whatever you get cost someone something, it just wasn't you who paid that price. So it's important to know who that someone is.
Congrats on being back in the Top 100. It's a fun place for sure!
I love how busy you stay. We all have those "attitude" days. I've been watching my food and exercising since Jan. I'm trying to shed some winter fluff. LOL However, every once in a while, I have what I call an attitude problem and I eat whatever doesn't move fast. I feel awful after but don't dwell. Just pick yourself up, dust off and start again.
I can't believe you're going to do a video. Good for you!!! You're not only busy but brave. Plus that's a LOT of plants!!!!! Holy cow!!
You have a lot on your plate so stay calm, deep breaths and paint. I didn't know you painted but that's awesome!!!!

Needed this tonight from you, as my ***Computer has gone down again, just a few minutes ago, so it is back to the laptop.
Started painting as I retired, as something to do, used to love it, do all the mediums, or should say did. Love Pastels and Acrylics, but also dabble in watercolour now that I have found a decent paint that does not look insipid. Have dabbled in oils as well.
If you think three dozen plants is a lot, when I used to grow Fuschias, which I used to show, nearly thirty years ago, would have over three hundred plants growing in my greenhouse.
So I will not let it get me down, but open a bottle of Malbec instead.

I do mostly abstract art using acrylics and started doing acrylic pouring just recently. I like to use other mediums on top of the acrylic after it dries such as modeling past. I also play with alcohol inks on paper to make cards and do scrapbooking.
Malbec sounds really good about now. Enjoy your weekend. Remember to BREATH.

Dear WV, how strange I use modelling paste on the blank canvas to bring out the texture, if my mobile worked would try to take a photo of one or two of them.
On my second glass, so it is almost bedtime, have to have a clear head for my plants tomorrow.
Would fade away if I did not breathe, lol.

Congratulations on returning to the top 100 Stuart.
Your bout of feeling low could be down to lockdown. We are all a bit like that at the minute with freedom seeming so close but so far. I think it is getting to a lot of people.

Yes, Stuart, from reading your post, it sounds like painting would be a wonderfully therapeutic outlet for you right now. Go on, now, paint yourself a masterpiece, then take a pic and show it to all of us! (Mother Meador has spoken!) That's what my patients used to call me when they thought I was being over protective (which I probably was...but in my 25 year career, I never had anyone fall, so it seems to have paid off to have earned that moniker!)

Great! What medium do you use? I have a friend who does fabulous watercolors. I have 2 that she made into greeting cards that I have framed.

Mainly Acrylics, but also like pastels for a quick canvas. Have finally found watercolour paints that are not insipid, so do that as well.
Would love to be able to paint. I paint with words insead.
Did not say I could paint, just enjoy messing about with different mediums.
I think it's nice that you have a relaxing outlet. I make quilts.

I also enjoy going to thrift stores and finding little "treasures", building a story around them, and displaying them in a fairy garden. My first was a birdhouse shaped like a teardrop camping trailer hitched that I hitched to 2 toy unicorns, and a human driver sitting on top. Chuckled every time I had to make a new harness for the team.
The mind boggles.
