Stuart at the WA - Week 74

Introduction

A very good morning to all at the WA. For once I can honestly say that I am starting to make progress on a number of the tasks which I set myself. however, I am a little tired this morning as last night was the Annual Dinner Dance for the local Branch of the Royal British Legion, no longer am I used to long night's out and dancing with young ladies, it was a really good night and the meal was superb. Must confess I still enjoy going out to such functions in my Evening Suit.

So what has occurred these last few days.

The Last Four Days

Realising that I really have to do some sort of video promotion, and knowing that buying a video camera was out of the question for now (still waiting for the money to arrive back in the account) invested in a programme to make videos, by selecting slides and animations.

The upshot is that I completed my first effort on Friday, added music, and hope to upload it to a site that I no longer use, just to see if I have done everything right.

There seems little sense in loading it to my main website if it does not work correctly. The system is fairly simple, you just select slides add words and it all gels together. Might buy a microphone so that I can do voice overs, but we will see. Feel sure that I did have one, but must have thrown it out.

You may recall that on Wednesday that as part of my plan for building the business was to post a daily blog, and I promised to get it started by the time that I wrote this. Today's web blog will be my fourth one, so I did as I said I would, that is almost a first. lol.

Continue to search and file when I get the time, it really is quite enlightening just what I have got.

The Next Three Days

Will have a go at loading the video to see that it works, then you just never know, could be that I make one or two to go with my content, but I will not spend to long on them to avoid not carrying out my main tasks.

Have at long last submitted another article to my website, with another just requiring final proofreading and media adding, depending on how I feel might just get this uploaded today. Have long since realised that I will not be going to Vegas, so whilst I will continue to follow the challenge and do what work I can, no longer treat this as a priority. Am continuing for one reason I am learning a lot from the tasks that are set and often have to refer back to training which is good.

During one of my research and put away sessions on the dust in the hard drive, had a light bulb moment which I really should have had a long time ago. I am a trained course designer and trainer, so why on earth has this not dawned on me before. It is not rocket science that I should be able to design my own courses, and hopefully sell them, they could even be the high ticket items, will take time, but we will see.

Promise not to get carried away and will stick to generating my list, but there is nothing to stop me investigating this further, possibly spending say thirty minutes a day looking at the possibilities, also doing the same for the video creation. As long as I am strict with the stop watch, it will not infringe on the time needed for my main goal.

Think that I have given myself enough to do for now.

Conclusion

As you will gather am starting to get a grip on things, just need to keep the momentum going, which I will do my best to do. It certainly could prove to ne an interesting few days if I accomplish the majority of the tasks which I have set myself.

Must be back on form as this post is more like my normal length.
