Introduction

Good Evening to all you lovely people at the Great WA Family, as always do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well.

The title to this week's blog is one of several on the same theme that I could have used, if you recall I said last week that I was very tired, guess what nothing has changed. Watched a DVD after tea, guess what it finished over an hour ago, I have just woken up.

Not quite sure what the problem is, am I just a little run down, in need of a break, or some other wonder of modern science. I do know that aholiday would not go amiss, but that is not going to happen anytime yet.

To add to my tiredness my aches and pains have, to put it mildly been very annoying, do have the odd "this really hurts moment" but in the main they are just annoying.

When this all started I designed myself a set of exercises in the hope that they would help me ease the problem. When I was doinf them this morning I realised that one of them was no longer happening. It is a fairly straight forward arms forward as far as they will go towards the top of my head, then back again, it has been easy until today when the highest I can lift them was about half way.

So it is obvious that the neck and choulders are not getting any better, will have to make a decision this week as to what I do next. One suggestion was to have a stud or pin inserted into the top of my spine, but if it fails, then, I will be crippled for life, so I am not in favour of this!!

The reason for the title is a little tongue in cheeck, when I was eighty my daughter gave me a cushion which had on it "Dad King of Napping", so it appealed to my sense of humour given the wek that I have had.

The Last Few Days

In some ways not much done due to the problems mentioned, in others, I have been surprised at how clear things have started to come together, not in any great detail, but certainly a little clearer.

Writing this is making me smile as a number of you have told me to take things a lot steadier, this week I have not had alot of choice. I am finding that keeping my inbox clear is a real pain, but if I let it get bigger then i will eventually have to spend days soring it out.

Did do some refresher training, was surprised at I had forgotten, that is assuming that I knew it in the first place. Hoever the tips that I picked up should make my websites and blogs a lot better, which is what I was hoping for.

It is possible that I have found some products which I can use as well.

The Next Few Days

If I am honest as yet I am not quite sure what I will aim to do next week. Think that the most sensible option will be to take each day as it comes, seeing just what I can do.

One thing that I will guarantee is that despite my problems, I WILL NOT GIVE UP.

Conclusion

In some ways a week to forget, but as always will just put it behind me and get on with life.

Will plan next week tomorrow.

Be Happy, Healthy and Wealthy.

Please do stay safe.

God Bless

Stuart

You have a great attitude, Stuart.
Never giving up is the only way to go, as we never know what pleasant surprises are there waiting for us.

I sincerely hope you can find some relief for the tiredness you are experiencing.

I'm glad that in spite of your problems, you have decided to stay on for the long haul. Great conviction. I pray you get stronger as the days go by and be able to do those things that you now find difficult to do.

Many thanks for your kind comments.

Hope you feel better soon, Stuart. It's not easy when we're run down. Take care and rest when you need it. I like the tile of that pillow your daughter gave you. I should get one for my dad...and a few others, too lol! Have a great week.

Thanks, Stuart! Most appreciated.

Hello, VH

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well or as they say in England, "feeling poorly". A pin at the top of the spine doesn't sound good at all! You're right. That's taking a big chance. I guess anything you do with the back has a high probability of going bad. When I had surgery, the dr told my mother that I had a 50/50 chance of ever walking again. She never told me that until much later but it had to have been scary. What are your other options? Have you tried a gentle yoga?

As far as being tired, it seems that you are doing a lot on any given day. I mean a lot physically. Naps can be good though. Do you feel energized after a nap?

Well, another busy week for me and another one this week although I get to hang out with my daughter, her husband and my grands on Friday and Sat so that will be something to look forward to. I'm really trying to wind down and ENJOY Christmas instead of rushing around. I'm hosting a table at my church Christmas party so after that is over, I might be good.

Please DO take it easy this week. Nap when you need to and perhaps get some other opinions regarding your back.

Talk soon

Hi VW,

Not sure what the other options are, but had forgotten a little gentle yoga.

Some days I feel great after a nap, othe days I just want another one.

You are cetainly keeping busy, it would be good to spend time with your daughter ans family.

Realise that I now have to take things more easily, it is just so frustrating. Will have to have a look at more opinions on my back, there must be something that can be done.

Feel better for the healing hugs.

Take care.

As always
