Introduction

Good Evening to all you lovely people at the Great WA Family, as always do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well.

This has been a funny week in more ways than one, it has been the start of the cricket season, after looking forward to it for weeks, have spent the early part of the first three days looking out over the members balcony hoping that the outfield will dry out. Overnight rain keeps putting paid to that.

Today I was waiting for a decision about play until nearly 2pm, when I gave up and came home. Having said that I have been home very early on the previous two days as well. I will not even bother going tomorrow, I can find plenty to do here.

Having said that I have enjoyed relaxing, talking to my friends at the cricket and generally 'Chilling out'. It has also enabled me to think of what I want to do next with regards to my business. I suppose that in some ways I have had a well needed break from the computer.

The Past Few Days

In addition to the cricket I have done some bits on the business. As usual have had chance to put a booklet together, the next job will be to make sure that all the books and booklets which I have started are finished.

Will also need to ensure that I have all these books in one place and know which websites that they will need to be linked with.

Have, in my mind, decided where to go next with regard to my websites, the one that I am thinking of will require a great deal of work just to do the blog or content but it is time that I knuckled down again and did some serious work.

You may recall that I joined again the Society of Genealogists, when I arrived home yesterday, there was a large envelope waiting for me, when I opened it, found that it contained a Seven Genration research Logbook, a thank you from the Society for rejoining.

It is truly amazing as in addition to the normal entries, it has space for the census and room for notes. My intention is to put all the information that I have gathered so far, leading from my wife and myself backwords. This should then show what I have missing, which hopefully will lead to me filling in some gaps.

When it is as completed as I can get it, will leave it all to my daughter as she is the one who, hopefully will continue my work on the Family Tree.

Have been able, despite the rain to get some time in the garden.

The Next Few Days

It will again be time for me to go through the hard drive and get things sorted once more. Hopefully I will be able to draft out my thoughts on some new content, which could, if done properly lead to not only a list being built, but some residual income from some affiliates.

These last few days has given me a lot of time to think about what I should be doing and where I should be going. One bit at a time though.

Conclusion

Hopefully will be able to get some of the work done which I have outlined above, would also like to do some training particularly on AI.

Be Happy, Healthy and Wealthy

Please do stay safe.

God Bless,

Stuart

Hey VH

Sorry about the Cricket. I hate it when rain spoils my plans but then I think -- rain is better than snow. At least I don't have to shovel it.

I AM happy to hear that you're making progress with your family tree and will leave it to your daughter. I do mine electronically and not sure who will take it over after I'm gone -- if anyone. The new generation is much different. They don't like "stuff" cluttering their space and many don't seem interested in researching the past. I think they WILL take the scrapbooks though.

I started working out with weights again this week so I've been a little sore but hopefully will finally see some results. I hit a plateau. It's much harder these days to lose even though I got a nice hike in this Sat. It was a beautiful day. We've been rained out a few times.

Well, I have a hike tomorrow and some things to do before bed so you have a wonderful week!!!!!

Always
Your VW

Hi VW,

Rain does do he garden more good, at the moment we have had so much that the Rivers are almost breaking their banks and the ground is sodden.

Managed to make an error when I started the family tree book, started with me instead of my daughter, whom I will also leave the Family Bible too. This dates from around 1772.

I do have all the records done electronically, when I used to visit London eveything went in my laptop.

Get you working out with weights and hiking once more. You would love Derbyshire as there are so many walks (hikes) not that I bother these days.

Finding plenty to do, just get short of time!

Have a great week and do not over do the weights or the hiking.

As always

Your VH

Genealogy is so fascinating. That's wonderful that you are working on that to pass down to your daughter. I'm sure one day she will treasure it. Hope you have a great week, Stuart!

Susan

Hi Susan, one find we had was discovering that my Mum's family is related to the Bronte Family. We have been to the grave of Ann Bronte when we are in Scarborough. The sad thing is that Mum passed before I found this out. May you also have a great week.

Stuart

That’s exciting Stuart! You never know who’s in the past history. So fascinating. I’ll bet your mum would have liked to have discovered that connection. Cheers!

She certainly would.

The genealogy book sounds interesting -- good resource.

Have only had a baby play, but it looks like being a really good cource.

Extra duties for you Stuart, put you on a fizzer.
You know what needs to be done.
You've had some time to think, that's good. now its time for action focus old fruit.
Start the new week with a positive attitude and go for it. Do what you can, but enjoy life too. Wishing you the best.
Bux

As always Bux, many thanks.
Stuart

Just trying to help, Stuart. I know what its like when things drift, I've got a great snowdrift of jobs to do as well, but I try and keep the shop front (so to speak) looking tidy.
Good luck.
Bux

Cheers Buddy.
Stuart

I hope you have a good week Stuart.
Bux

As I do you Bux.
Stuart

Thanks Stuart. yes, it's going really well. Much better than last week, already.

Good to hear.

I honestly think that the opening weekend of the season for Derbyshire will be a washout Stuart, but... did you see that phenomenal knock from Sam Northeast at Lords for Glamorgan?

It's always beneficial to have a break from the computer in order to contemplate which is the best direction to move forward in!

Keep on keeping things simple my friend and there is an abundance of training about using AI here on the platform!

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday evening and have a fantastic start to the new week! :-)

Hi Jessie,

Did see what Sam had done, guess who we play on Friday in Cardiff?

Will try to find time for AI training, but also want to look at some of my new ideas, but without overdoing it.

May you also have a great week. :-)

I hope for your sake he's not in the same nick Stuart!

Just take it easy my friend, keep it simple and do what you can ok! :-)

It could be a wet track!!

Wales at this time of the year normally will be Stuart!! :-)

We can but hope when they bat!! :-)

Haha! I'm with you there Stuart!

Enjoy the rest of your week my friend! :-)

Hi Stuart, you had a productive week! Evenif you did not achieve some of your goals yet, you took the time to mentally see your future!

I found out that projecting myself in the future helps me achieving fast my goals!

So, good job! And let's hope the rain will stop so you can play cricket!!

Many thanks for your kind comments.
