Almost Too Much Trouble
Introduction
Good Afternoon/Evening to all you lovely people at the great WA Family, as usual, do hope that you are all keeping both safe and well.
The title will be explained later, suffice to say that the clock going forward has not helped at all, in fact it is possible that this could take a long time to complete as I can feel my eyes closing already!!
Notice that I am back to writing on a Sunday around early evening. Will try to keep to this rough time, but when I go away will write on a Saturday as I intend to drive to my dectination on the Sunday.
Last Weeks Blog
A word of explanation about what I wrote last week, I do not mean to upset or offend anyone, in hind sight I was having a feel sorry for Stuart day, all of you have been truely wonderful with your support and love over the past months, in fact, it is the WA Gang that has kept me going, for this I will be forever grateful.
The Last Few Days
In some ways it has been a little hit and miss, the Cricket AGM was very interesting, the new stand that the three of us suggested is almost finished, this should add another 800 seats to the ground capacity. We were updated on the take over or buy out of the 100, this could provide a very large sum of money, Counties will have to use it for ground development and not on players.
I have been a little slack on the PLR training, in some ways this may have proved to be a blessing in disguise. I have bought a product to enhance one of my sites, the vendor is top drawer, having used them before. One bonus is a complete series on PLR, this looks even better than the one that I have, but we will see.
Have had a major row with one of my Banks, they refused to pay my Gas Bill, on five occasions, on finally speaking to them they said it was rather high and they thought that it was fraud. The result was a new card, which I hope will arrive before the bill is due. The reason for size of the bill! Simples I was keeping Yvonne warm and comfortable in her last days!!
On garden front, I have continued to clean and tidy it up, the compost bins were emptied on Friday, both are half full already! I have last ordered some shrubs for the pot display, seven in all, hope that they perform as well as I want them to! Also some more perenials, the title for this blog was very nearly "Spring is here", the reason is very simple all the blossom that is now making the garden a wonderful place to walk down.
The Magnolia tree and the Magnolia Bush are a picture, as are the three prunus, all different and really brightening the place up. My newly potted Witch Hazel are both starting to open and look really good.
Not sure if I ever mentioned that I bought a water garden some years ago, that is a posh name for a bowl with aquatic plants in? This has long passed its sell by date and beginning to look a mess, I decided to empty it, clean it and replant it, this I did this week. Went to the garden centre and bought five marginals in four inch pots, these fit nicely into the water bowl. In fact when I go down the garden now, they sit on the decking outside the Summer House (or Studio), already making an improvement to the general scene. This does give heart as it encouraged me to keep going.
Having said that went down the garden before I started this blog, did some pruning, but felt so tired I just could not be bothered so came in and statred this.
Whe my son phoned I told him that I sat in my chair, when I had my morning coffee and woke nearly two hours later. Mentioned that I had a blip yesterday, breaking down in tears for no reason, he said that he does the same.
With it being Mothering Sunday phone both children up to make sure that they were both OK, my daughter said that they had been to Lichfield yesterday, went into the Catherdral and lit a candle, also had a little cry.
We keep in conatct every week, Gillian calls on a Wednesday after school, I do need their contact, if Richard cannot call he always phones.
Yesterday I was the Freedom Parade for my old ATC Squadron, it was a pleasant occasion, the Lord Lt. taking the salute, I was in my new three piece dark suit with Bowler Hat and medals. I do have to look the part on the odd occasion, lol!
Just to think all being well I should be in Bournemouth in two weeks, I really cannot wait.
The Next Few Days
Have two Branch meetings and the start of the Cricket Season to look forward too, also a home football match, so it looks like being a busy week on the social front. I will try to fit some gardening in, also some training but we will have to see.
Think that I have said enough for this week, also time that I had a meal.
Be happy, healthy and wealthy,
Please do stay safe and take care.
God Bless,
Stuart

Hello Stuart,
I was thinking of you and your children a lot today. Mother's Day must have been difficult for all of you. And it was such a nice sunny day!
Your Bank could at least have got in touch with you to ask about your gas bill, and you could have explained in a couple of sentences.
Let us know next week how your new shrubs and new perennials are doing. We moved into this bungalow last August and didn't buy all that many plants because we wanted to see what would come up in the spring. We have now been to two different garden centres and have bought 4 rose bushes and a few perennials. The lovely weather makes all the difference.
Hope you get on well with the PLR
Wishing you a good week. Take care.
Isabella
Hi Isabella,
Yesterday went well really, I tried not to think that the children would have called with flowers, cards and chocolates!!
In fact thinking back to last year Kyle's girlfriend even bought a card and present, it was a framed saying with Nan on it. After that Yvonne always called her "My Granddaughter"
Agree regarding the Bank, I was livid when I found out the reason!
When the new plants arrive I will keep you updated, it could be a week or so yet.
Pleased that you have been able to make a start adding what you want to your garden.
Have a great week,
Best wishes,
Stuart
Have a wonderful week ahead, Stuart. I always enjoy your blogs. I picture your lovely garden with the magnolias and witch hazel. Wishing you the very best.
Take care,
Melissa
Hi Melissa,
Pleased that you enjoy my offerings each week, the Magnolia shrub is in fact Magnolia Stellata, I forgot yesterday.
It is my wish that the garden becomes a memory garden for Yvonne, it will take a lot of time and effort, but I will get there.
Enjoy the week,
Stuart.
Always love to read your Sunday Blog Stuart....
I know it is written by YOU and not some AI bot!
Firstly, I just want to say that you didn't offend anyone with last weeks blog.... if that offended anyone, then I feel sorry for them!
I have never been a fan of this new '100' game which has been forced upon us to the detriment of the national teams though...
I am fully aware that the sponsorship has brought in a serious amount of money from outside which could help English cricket grow in the near future... but is it sustainable??
Keep up the fantastic work with your garden... I wish I still had one after moving away 20 years ago and have only lived in apartments ever since...
Take care my dear friend! :-)))
Hi Jessie,
As always many thanks for your reply.
Like you I am not a fan of the 100 game, not sure how sustainable the money is, when I find out I will let you know!!
Will try to keep the gardening up!!
Have a great week. :-)

Hey VH
I'm taking a break from cleaning. I'm allergic to dust so I'm doing a deeper dive into many of the nooks and crannies I miss on a weekly cleaning. My mother would consider this "Spring cleaning". However, if she saw my version, she would lose her mind!!! She TORE the house UP twice a year. I do NOT ever do that. She'd call and ask me if I had done my spring cleaning and I was barely keeping my head above water working 1 1/2 jobs, raising 3 kids alone, taking 2 college courses and getting the kids to where they needed to go. Funny, she never understood that. In any case, it feels good to sit for a minute.
It sounds like you've been quite busy!!! I understand you had a couple lapses but that's totally expected. I'd worry if you didn't. I got mad FOR you when I heard about your gas bill and the bank. I can't believe they didn't CALL you and see if that was indeed your bill!!! You were a great husband to Yvonne and I'm sure she would have done the same for you if things were turned around. You've been blessed to have found the love of your life. Many of us don't.
Magnolia trees are so beautiful yet so messy. I bet your garden is gorgeous. You need to come and work on my yard now that I have a fence. LOL!!!
Also, you need to show us a photo of you in your new suit, hat and medals!!!
Well, I better get back to work. I AM the maid!!! lol
Have a great week and take care of yourself.
Always
Your VW
Hi VW,
Must confess that I now have to do this cleaning thing, also washing, a (wo(mans) job is never ending (very tongue in cheek).
To make matters worse my other Bank played up today, bought a product, liked the OTO1 so bought that, realised that I needed the next OTO, guess what try nearly two hours to persuade them that it was genuine, then I had a job to get it all back.
The products that I bought are for my attempt to get back working on the business, as I need them to fill a gap in what I have already. But we will see.
At the moment I do not have a photo that you have asked for, might just be able to oblige sometime.
Afraid that my garden is still a mess and will take sometime to get put right, but will continue to work on it, as Yvonne used to often say put a flame thrower on it and start again. I suppose that in some ways that now that I am a lot fitter that this will be for her.
Getting close to bedtime, so will say Goodnight, God Bless have a great week, and do not work too hard.
As always
Your VH
