Depression
Sitting here reflecting on my life and just wrote an article about my depression on my website. I've never had it before but man has it reared its ugly head due to my life circumstances.
It dawned on me that I'm sure a lot of you are feeling the same way and that is why we have migrated to Wealthy Affiliate. To find a place that we can feel welcomed, have a community and even gain some friendships as well as earn a living. Isn't that what life is all about?
I had a very strong and well paying career in healthcare. It ended 2 months ago when I quit my job due to Identity theft at my workplace. This left me devastated financially and emotionally.
It was about the time that I thought that I couldn't become anymore depressed that I found WA. It has given me the opportunity to feel good about myself. To feel good about the information that I am putting together for others to grow and learn from. To feel good just being part of a great community.
I am slowly and surely getting my website built up, getting a lot of views and with any luck the referrals will come!!

Will you be setting up an affiliate site first, or are you working a page related to your healthcare experience as your niche? As a dental pro, I had thought I may do both as well.
Hi there, I really relate to what you're saying - I very much understand depression too and have been through many bouts of it through my lifetime. Thankfully, I've managed to come out of that for a long time - but I was still definitely searching for something when I found WA. That was last august, in 2015. There are some great people here and it's been an amazing experience - I've certainly learnt more than I could have ever imagined. :)

I fully understand Depression, believe me.
You are working miracles and you are slowly but surely building you're life back up to where you want to be.
Keep up the determination and be strong and you WILL break through the tears and sadness.
WA is truly an amazing place to be and a very strong community.

Thanks. Some days are harder than others. I think we can all be survivors. Just find that bright light in the day.

You have to stamp out the self doubt and you cannot change the past, but you can change the future.
