Being organised-Top tips to help you work on your online business
As i've been working on my online business, I have been able to get more work done, when I've set a few targets that i want to get accomplished on the same day.
I wanted to share my tips on how i am able to accomplish more.
- Keep a set time for when you want to work, so you have enough time to work and do the things that you also love. This helps you organise your time and be able to complete your list of things to do for the day.
- Write down the things that you want to accomplish for the day. This is to clear your headspace. And it will definitely help you know where to start.
- Get the shorter tasks completed first.
- Tick them off and focus on the task that will take you the longest to complete. This is mainly because when you start completing the shorter tasks, you feel motivated to finish the tasks that your trying to put off.
- Take breaks regularly, go for a walk, go into your garden (If the weather is good)or make a cup of coffee/tea.
- Taking longer breaks will distract you- so try to aim for a 15-20 break.
- If you feel like you are getting frustrated, then take a break. If you still feel the same - STOP and try again the next day. When getting frustrated, you might make a mistake and not know how to undo it.
I hope this does help!
It has helped me do a lot
When i first started, i think i was overworking myself and i wanted to get as much done as possible and i was starting to get frustrated.
Then i decided, that i needed to bring some discipline in to my daily routine. It has helped enormously and I will carry on doing this every day and occasionally take a whole days break here and there

Hi Qurat, I totally agree with most of what you have said here, except for maybe tasks 3 and 4!
I have to agree with what Abie has said before. I always find it more beneficial to get the hardest or least pleasurable tasks out of the way first each day.
That way, the rest of the day becomes more relaxed as I move through it, in the end the easiest tasks just breeze by without much pressure at all!
Just my take on things of course, we must always do what is best for us individually.
Have a wonderful day my friend!:-)
In my case, I do both but I handle the hardest tasks differently. I break the hardest tasks into smaller components and focus on each component at a time. I know sometimes we are pressed with deadline but even in that case, I still break the work into pieces and focus one at a time.
I absolutely agree with you Qurat, that is the best method to take, and the one I always use.
By breaking down the most difficult, hardest and least pleasurable tasks we need to complete daily into bitesized chunks, it is so much easier to complete them one chunk at a time.
Once we are happy with getting the more difficult tasks out of the way then we will always feel more relaxed when moving forward with the simpler and less challenging goals that we set ourselves when we woke up in the morning!! :-)
Good learning for you, and over time you will be doing it automatically and getting better at it!
Well done
Annie:)
Give it time, and it will get automatic and you will be able to do other things as well.
Learning becomes flow.
You are doing very well, keep at it:)
Annie:)
Excellent tips, Qurat!
