Honoring Independence Day Hiking In Nature

Happy Independence Day, my WA family!

Wherever you live, it's great to honor your freedom. We do it here in the US on the 4th of July.

Here at WA, we can honor the freedom we all seek to be able to have income without working at a job that pays us in exchange for our time spent. That is impossible to leverage as we only have a limited time to work, meaning we limit our income when trading time for dollars.

All the tools we need for that freedom are here at WA.

Next month, as some of you know, I am hiking Half Dome in Yosemite for my 70th birthday. It's a strenuous hike so I need to train a bit. Twice this weekend we (my wife Erin and our dog Ginger) hiked Coyote Ridge. It's a steep climb up the East side of the Santa Cruz Mountains, which make up the western edge of the Santa Clara Valley, better known now as Silicon Valley.

While the hike is steep, the views once we broke through the tops of the foothills were stunning. The mountains in the distance make up the east side of the valley. They are the Diablo Mountains.

Looking across the valley in the second pic above you see somewhat tiny looking buildings. That's downtown San Jose, CA. Over a million folks live in that valley below. Here, high in the hills, we are free from all of that. The views were spectacular and honestly these pics don't do them justice.

Training isn't easy, especially at my ripened age, but it is highly rewarding. On this training, the views and the company were sublime! In our WA training, the rewards are the small "wins' along the way. These wins include your first website, first post indexed by Google, first income from your web-based business and the first monthly income that tops your job's income.

So, once again, Happy Independence Day, whether it be the freedom we celebrate as free from authoritarian rule, or freedom from J.O.B (just over broke).

Whatever you celebrate, remember to keep on thriving!
