First REAL money made!

I've been away for a week or so from WA. (Sorry!)

But still online doing my thing, like us all here at Wealthy Affiliates.

SO ONTO THE BIG STORY!

It really didn't seem that real to me;

I've been making small cents on my affiliates, and on my Google Adsense over the past (a little less) 3 months. Thinking you know, cool, this really does work!

But last night, it superseded my expectations! I'm not sure if it was WA or my hard work.

I always read "success stories" here, so I figured I can finally write my own now!

As you may or may not know...

I built my website for about a month and a half, then when looking for ways to keep my own things that I sell low and affordable for everyone, I came across WA.

I followed every training available here! And it was honestly just a buffering, spiff up time and ultimately a small waiting game.

MUCH smaller then I thought!

I do work for another site that sells along the lines of what I sell, so I was focusing on that, and only self-promoting when it was possible, and not when it may get me into trouble. I hadn't been on there much, since I was REALLY focusing on my site. Now (sites) mainly www.theprojectframework.com

Maybe it was that, or maybe it was WA, but I took on some outside jobs to distract my focus for a week or two, just to take my own break, right?

I had been working really hard on (and still aha) 29 more pages to add with advertising, and all that good jazz, so I just wanted to rip my face away from the computer.

So I did. Wound up coming back online to work for the other company, and with small name drops, and a lot about me (more talking then usual, and I can talk!), I get a message last night saying a payment was made to my paypal!

What do you mean I got a payment?!

That's right. The very thing I was striving for, and waiting to sell. HAD JUST SOLD.

I realized then in myself, I was trying SO HARD to be successful, I forgot that it's not about the money anyway! Who would have thought I'd be someone to get lost in that?! My whole reason here, is to find ways to keep my prices low and fair. At quality value, really.

I REALLY WAS SO LOST;

In making that striking sale on something I not only love to do, but what my site is all about! What my life is about!

You mean I did all that work, and just thinking my usual way instead of eating the computer screen at night falling asleep, PAID OFF?

Patience.

Something I was certainly not given in my life haha

But that's all I was missing. I couldn't figure out for the life of me what I was doing wrong.

It wasn't what I was doing wrong, it's what others were doing right, sort of speak.

No I didn't make a million dollars.

Sure, you might be looking for that kind of success. But this one small thing was unbelievable for me. I can't tell you correctly, the glow I had. I didn't even know how to react at first!

Luckily I got it together, emailed for some information on my client, then wrote her a detailed 400 dollar seemingly (I didn't make that, I could NEVER charge what some people do!) worth Dream Interpretation, that changed another life in an amazing way by ME. And ironically enough, I'm working on a whole dream book of interpretations in my 29 new pages of free to use content. Will I still put up the dream information now that I've made a sale without it? Absolutely. You know why? Because my client said she knew about dreams, but wanted my interpretation anyway. I'd be a fool NOT to put it up! Because I know more people are looking for that! AND that means I could be more helpful even! They will come to MY site!! I was on the right path with my content all along. Who knows; luck? I think now maybe my website might just not be that bad actually! Not luck, belief.

Maybe I didn't post this right away;

Because I feel like others have had bigger successes. But now that I think about it, that was a big success. For me. And it shows that WA, everything I strive for, all the hard work YOU even put in. WILL PAY OFF.

Who knows when my next big sale will be, could be on the site I work for, could be through an affiliate.

But I do know, it could be on my own work.

Much conclusions later;

I hope this just goes to show, that you can keep pushing and you will get it! But patience is HUGE to not forget. It is such a great reward, trust me. Trust me when I say too, you can't focus on the money fully, or you'll forget how to or how you got there.

Now onto my other two sites, just waiting for me to mine!....and stay calm about haha
