Getting together live face to face
Hi everyone, does anyone live close to me that would like to meet up. I was thinking maybe A coffee at the local starbucks and talk over some web-design, marketing or what ever
Hi Tracy - I live in the Highlands of Scotland - so can't join you unfortunately...but to put your worries aside...
There's absolutely no problem with anyone meeting up. The community maybe global - but if you know people close to you (geographically), then meeting up would be a great way of building friendships, and perhaps even getting and sharing a few tips that you may not want to publicise on-line anywhere.
WA isn't about dictating how you live your life, and imposing rules on how you go about being a member of the community - it's about helping you in any way it can, to live the life you want!
I hope you find people you can meet up with - and enjoy putting real faces to names!!
All the best, Mark
Thanks a lot Mark,
Ok, I do feel A little better knowing it is ok to try to put together A local group of WA members. I think it could really be helpful and very supportive.

OH, one more little thing. Mark do you know how I can make this discussion global meaning site wide or how I could start one site wide so that everyone has the chance to respond? Thanks
Hi Tracy - I'm not an expert, but you could try sharing your query on live chat (blue box left hand side). Also, you may want to follow a few more people (I try to do this every few days - so I can help, and also be helped where possible) - which will help to build your network of people.
Outside of WA - I haven't done this - but you could post leaflets in local takeaways etc saying "want to know how to really make it in business... call xxxxxxxxx or visit http://xxxxxxxx" - you may find more local people are interested in just meeting up to discuss how to build on their ideas - and that way you could introduce people to WA - and maybe earn some affiliate commission that way?
I hope this helps?
All the best, Mark

Hey Tracy. Unfortunately, the Visual tab in WordPress isn't wysiwyg, I find it easiest to keep two windows open, and refresh the actual page in one as I make changes in the other. If it's creating a "layout" for products, then either use a theme that's designed to showcase them, there's a number of free offerings over at Woo http://d.pr/CGEg or set up columns or tables using UtMCE http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ultimate-tinymce/ There's training on it here: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/ultimate-tinymce-plugin-the-ultimate-training :) Rich.
Hi Rich,
Thanks for the advice. Yes,, I have found out that finding the right theme can be really important if you are making A site that you are going to try to make money with. I think since this is the case with most of us here at W.A. there needs to be more attention given to finding the right theme and then setting it up with products and content. Maybe its just me, but I have been having A really difficult time trying to layout my theme. I get confused about exactly where I should be putting my products on the pages. Like do I put them all in one post or put each product in its own post. And then when I put A product in a post, on what page will it be placed. yes, you suggested maybe using columns or tables I just got (tinymce advanced) and I can make tables with it. that is how I have done it before while building sites.
Thanks again,
Programer
