Its been said that 1st SALE is like a drug. Its simply unforgettable. Do you remember when you got yours? The state of mind you were in and what it meant to you?
Please
Yes, it was 46 cents from Amazon. I was extremely excited, my wife thought I was crazy. She told me she'd give me 50 cents if it made me that happy. Jim
Lol :) :) its exciting! I mean out of the sea of information on the internet that person decided you the BEST. I think it means a lot when someone believes in you, your content just helps building that trust bridge.
Yes. I got USD 50 by connecting a post url. It strengthens my belief that WA training works.
March 2003 I got my first network marketing referral who upgraded to an advertising package with added training. Commission was $10 a month.
I like the Commission part - definitely sets a lot of wheels in motion. Its like everything coming together and praising you for your hard work! Wait to go!
The feeling was one of liberation and self-assurance. I knew if I could sign one person to a paid program I could sign many others. In the years since I have made a fair bit of commissions and earnings from products my partners and I developed, but the first sale is special, it makes all others possible.

Thank you for this question.
It is kind of reawakening to think of my feeling that night. In fact I wrote a post on my blog here about it.
It is unbelievably reassuring.

Hi guys, I need a little advise and guidance. I have joined Rakuten Marketing and I am curious to understand it a bit. My posts are getting "Impressions" but no Clicks. Are imp
as Salim says the impression is just showing your site in the results.
have you checked what position your posts are?
if they are 4 or below don't expect too much at all.
where you need to be is pos 1-3.
have you thought of changing your meta data to a better teaser to try to get people to click through.
impressions are good as they show relevance in googles eyes, but you do need the clicks to show that people also think your article is relevant.
good luck getting the clicks
phil
I have changed my meta data on several occasions - for one posts anyway and it got ranked o the first page with the previous meta data. so i have been scared to change again. but i will take up your advice and check my position
Hello,
Now based on my understanding, for instance with Google and Ads in general, impressions are basically when someone searches for a keyword you are advertising and saw your ad, and not your site, just the ad.
The click is when the user not only sees the ad, yet clicks on it because he is intrigued and meets what he is looking for, he clicks on it and is taken to your website.
So I believe that a lot of impressions with no or very low clicks is related with the fact that the ad is not matching with what actually the users are searching for, hence not finding it interesting or matching their needs.
I hope that this helps clarify the numbers.
Okay. This answers a lot. So they are seeing the add only just not my site or posts. I guess i need to go back and visit previous lessons; or according to you how can I go about increasing my clicks?

I found Affiliate Disclosure template but unsure how to publish it? Should I publish as a page or should it be at the bottom of every post and how do i go about that? I did a l
Publish it as a page after you tweak it to your sites. Then add it to the menu at the top of your website.
Just make sure to mention a small sentence about affiliate links on the top of each post that has affiliatelinks.
Thank you so much. I guess it's important to have it everywhere on my site to be on the safe side.
When you join an affiliate program or network, they will mention their requirements too.
But the FTC wants it listed on every post that has affiliate links. They also want you to tell people you got the product for free for a review or if you're being paid to review it (ie a sponsered post) or if it's your best friend's product, you have to disclose that as well. Anything that anyone can decide makes you biased needs to be disclosed.

Now you are giving me a lot to think about. It makes me uncomfortable to think if I dont play by FTC rules then my site could be on their radar. What is the worst that could happen??
On the affiliate disclosure, the first part is about Amazon Associate - I am not. I am an affiliate of Walmart though.
Do the 2 have the same rules so that I can just tweak and put Walmart?
It applies to anything, honestly. They compile their rules based on the FTC guidelines.
That said, IF you forget or something, you might get a letter from your affiliate program or even if the FTC got complaints, asking you to include disclosures.
No blogger has been sued over an FTC disclosure. Don't stress. The FTC doesn't monitor bloggers and you'd only have problems if you're doing something unethical like not telling people someone is paying you a ton of money to promote an unsafe product to your millions of followers. Or you claiming something is a guaranteed cure for cancer or something.
No problem. I figured you were safe and legal as you were worried about disclosures. ^_^;
