A Step Forward...And I am Trying to Pay it Forward! Help.
Good Morning everyone and Happy Friday!!!
I know that I tend to be an MIA person every now and again, and I do apologize for that.
I have not stopped learning while being away. I still look for that low hanging fruit competition keyword. I use my special WA notebook to write notes and drafts for my website. I write down my information regarding keywords with monthly searches and talk about a variety of things on my website, so as to be ready to post a link and let people know what I buy to help ease my days when my anxiety heats up.
I am on the final toe (LOL) on my online school courses, paralegal and human resources management. I am able to easily bank them out because I want to focus on my website and being here too.
I do have a question that popped into my mind.
Electronics, big, small and a variety of them are the wave of now and the future. People buy them up like candy.
One of my dearest friends in the world, that I have known on and off for over 25 years has a computer business. He does not a website.
How can I help him elevate his business?
I am so happy being here and slowly gaining on my website that I am compelled and would love to pay it forward and help in succeed.
What's the best way to go about it?

With what you have learnt on here and still learning you would be able to do him a website, just about all the big companies have a website even the smaller ones are finding that it is becoming hard to compete with just the conventional shop etc
I would sure do what Carla has suggested. He could come in here for free and get a lot done on a website. If he chooses to go forward he can, but your bringing him here would be the best for you to do. (It's always best to let people do the work themselves; if you do it for them, they don't usually value it.)
Hard to imagine doing business today without a web site, even if you have a successful brick & mortar. You can bring here here to WA and help him build his site. He can stay if he likes or he can move the site if he cares to. Either way, I'm sure your help will be invaluable.
It's difficult to imagine someone who has a computer business doesn't have a website. I would think that's a way to help. I was lookiing online and you can get some sites for free. I think I found them from a blog today. Otherwise, I'm sure you can Google.
I know, it is weird that he doesn't. I'll have to badger him about that and see what I can do. I will try the free sites. Thank you :-)
Hi presidia9, I saw that you are finishing up some classwork in HR. I went to school for human resources. After years in working in the field, I quite and that is why I am here!hehehe So, to answer your question, I became a project manager for a natural doctor and am helping him put together an eBook for him. I coordinated things like building the book cover, etc. If you're willing to do that, you can help him that way.

Oh, presidia9, creating ebooks is fun! It's much like we are doing here--find a niche and fill it! I plan to mix that strategy in with my affiliate marketing. I like to write so it's fun for me. Take a look at my website that I created outside of this WA. I did that on my own and now because as I continue to learn here and through other means, I'm revamping it now. In a month or so, that site will be very different. Good luck to you with your computer friend. You know, I'm pursuing a certificate in social media and may even help others as a side line until my websites get going. It's amazing how many small business owners need help! Maybe that's something you could consider too...who knows?! Best of luck to you!
iceskater...you just made my day! Thank you so much. You are making me very excited. I also love writing and creating. Maybe doing an ebook for my friend and myself is in order. I was going to suggest building him a site but having read Carla's comment, I think it's best to bring him here- 'teach him to fish'.
