A Random Reflection
I have noticed that my ranking has gone UP from where it was before Christmas. Not that it bothers me, just a curious note of fact. However, it made me think about what the difference was to cause the change and I observed the following:
Involvement: Before Christmas I was here all the time. Posting answers, checking in at least 3-4 times a day. I was involved and it showed. That lead to the note that
Membership: Before Christmas had been monthly, and afterwards I had signed up for a yearly package, there was not the feeling of need-to-get-my-money urgency there. Yeah, I still come and it's a great place and I always learn something but it's like that safety net. I know it's here for me should I stumble and need a boost, but I no longer feel the uh-oh attachment.
So if you want a higher rank, hang out here a LOT and smile :)

:D hahaha Yes, I hang out here quite a bit but I do really smile (how did you know that?!).... I do enjoy your posts and am glad you are still around. I agree that if you pay for the annual membership it does remove that "I only have a month before I have to pay again and better make it worth my while" feeling. You put down in words what so many WA members probably did not even realize they were experiencing. Thanks again for your insight and great post. Don't be a stranger!! Terri
