Coming from Germany/Austria to Arizona via Chicago, I lived in Scottsdale, Phoenix, Tucson, Prescott and Sedona (with a pleasant year interruption in Sonoma, CA), I enjoy good quality in everything. That doesn't mean it has to be luxury, but the ambiance, the presentation, the materials/products have to be pleasant otherwise I rather starve, lol.
By trade I am a Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur,that is - according to Berlitz - the equivalent of two Master degrees plus work towards a PhD. I was one of four girls in that very first new curriculum designed for mid-size manufacturing company owners that needed a person on the helm that is trained in all aspects of different engineering fields and the same in economics, but only 2/3 in depth, so that you know enough to make decisions and hire the right experts for the details.
Germany was not ready to hire a woman for such an important position, so I started my own little consulting office (perfect education for that) in an area where no sane career-oriented person would go. We call it Bavarian Siberia as a joke because it is cold and on the very outskirts of Germany, a beautiful town called Passau. I had a good strategy to get clients and was then invited to teach at the German Chamber of Trade (one per county).
I had a blast and of course ups and downs, lots of educational real-life experiences. One day a Swiss client sent me to Scottsdale, Arizona... and the rest is history;)

Hi Petra, It's a pleasure to meet you here in our WA community. Goals are important because that will be our point of the target to achieve as we journey on our online business. I will be honored if you would need any help, I would be happy to do the best I can.
You have made terrific goals. In my opinion, it is reasonable. Wishing you all the best! My advice concentrate on your training but you could earn while you are learning. Have a focus on this point!

Hey Petra,
You can definitely achieve these goals and I know that you will make it happen. The key is to dedicate yourself to your training here at WA. Follow the training, take action on what you learn, and ask questions when you have them.
It all starts with a goal - you can now start working toward it!
Talk to you soon,
Carson

Creating goals is an important first step. After that, I suggest taking advantage of the well-designed and systematic training provided here at WA. When you have questions, don't be afraid to ask the talented and helpful mentors here for us.
Also, it is excellent that you are willing to make the time commitment to succeed. Good luck with progressing toward your goals.
Best regards,
Joe

Hello Petra ... thank you for the follow. Hope you are doing well and are safe. So how did you like Sonoma County, more casually known as Wine Country?
From Bavarian Siberia to the Scottsdale/Phoenix area. My guess is you prefer the Scottsdale/Phoenix area. My sister lived in Scottsdale, but visits were very short in the summer time. Way too hot for me.
I wish you the best on your WA journey.

Hi Perta,
Thank you so much for the follow, to show my appreciation I am returning the favor!
Out of the cold and into the sun. I don't blame you one bit.
I was raised in Ohio and visited Florida shortly after a brief stint in the military and never left it has been my home now for over 35 years.
Good luck,
Calvin

I know how that goes. Can you deal with the humidity in Florida?

Hi Perta,
When I first went to Florida, I was in my early 20's the humidity did not really bother me that bad. However, as I have aged if does take its toll on me more and more every summer.
But I do have to admit for the last two years now we really have not had super humid days as we did in 2010 thru 2015.
In fact, this past summer it was bad at times but not a consistent dripping humidity, and it was up in the upper digits (over 95) for many days straight?
I know Arizona gets hotter but it has very little humidity so it is much easier to breathe in the dry heat.

Yes, it's a dry heat. There is a poem about that, I have to dig it out again. And one actually gets used to it. Lots of water drinking is required. You have to have a bottle with you at all times.
