Relativity, height matters
Not small dogs, but still, probably bigger than you thought, standing next to me and I am 5'7", lol.

My guess is that's an Irish Wolfhound giving you a kiss in the 2nd picture. The brown dog is a mastiff of some sort or has mastiff in its background. Thanks for sharing Pluh.
Irish Wolfhound and Dane?? Yes, they are HUGE!!! and beautiful!!! I'm a big dog girl, myself!
I used to work with some former NBA basketball players. The 'short one' was 6'6". I'm a whole 5'2". They used to pick on me terribly. I always told them that if my feet reached the ground, I was tall enough - and if they weren't so darn tall, I wouldn't be so short! Christine
You nailed it. Great Dane and Irish Wolfhound, who I brought with me to America. Lufthansa let me load him like a horse. I was allowed to lead him in the plane's belly.
Can't let my daughter see these, she will want one. She has shiny object syndrome when it comes to dogs, horses, cats . . .
Happy weekend
Steve
I can identify. When I was a young teenager, I asked my father for a horse (I was a passionate dressage rider) and he snorted "I rather buy you a helicopter!" and I was delighted and said that would work too;) it was my other hobby, a Notar in black, oh oh.
Ha ha, you should meet my daughter. She would agree, helicopter, horse . . . she's our number one try anything girl. Especially if there's thrill and a buzz involved.

Great Dogs! The Irish Wolfhound is a gentle giant but the great Dane is an equally good heart. Know both breeds well! ;
