Around Ausrtalia 3
After coming down to Esperance from the Nullabor, we spent the next day having a rest from our recent Nullabor crossing. Esperance has a population of approx 8000 and is a port which ships a lot of wheat from the southern wheat belt here in western Australia. The following day was wet so we went for a drive to the "The La Grand National Park" which would have been spectacular only the for the weather.
The following day we travelled to a tourist attraction called "wave rock" , being a holiday weekend there were many people there walking over it. It's hard to explain it, it is like a giant ocean wave about 100 ft in height and it is of coarse a massive rock formation. What I am sorry about is that I still have camera problems, so I can't show you photos .I have the photos on my laptop but have too many pixels to load here. We have fixed things here tonight though.
All of this we are in at the moment is classed as the "southern wheat belt" and is virtually mile after mile of wheat looking really healthy because of recent rains with many very little towns. They had a good harvest last year as there is still a lot to be cleared from the wheat silos that are dotted throughout the area
To night we are at a another coastal town called Denmark, and noticed today as we came over to this area how the terrain has changed. We are now about to go through the picturesque area south of Perth where the wineries meet the wheat belt.
The weather is still fine but still on the cool side, about 20 c, but am looking forward to getting up to the warm weather of northern Aust.
Am sorry about the photos because some of there would be very interesting,

Your writing is just fine. I had good visuals from your descriptions. And the more you write, the better your get! Thanks for taking the time to provide us with a travelogue! Steve
