What's the best investment if you have 2000 $ ?
I'm also in the 67Steps program by Tai Lopez (the here-in-my-garage-Lamborghini-guy). On a recent live chat training, someone asked: "What's the best way to start investing if I only have 2000$?"
It didn't take Tai Lopez long to anwser that... "EDUCATION". Spend your money on educating yourself: read books, find mentors, buy (the right) programs (like W.A.!), learn from successful people.
Althoug I'm self-employed for 6 years now, ever growing and doing well, I only started really studying on business/entrepreneurship some 2 months ago. I enrolled in the 67Steps program, a couple of weeks later in NeuroGym's brain training (John Assaraf), and then I started looking for different programs on affiliate marketing, like the (expensive) InboxBlueprint, and then settled for this great community at W.A. :-)
I recently bought a great video training on Branding (& online Marketing) by the funky Australian BasicBananas.com
I also checked out expensive programs like the "Rich Dad Coaching", which seems to have little to do with the real Real Dad Society. Glad I didn't spend my 4000 dollars over there! Although... I loved the Rich Dad, Poor Dad book. I still recommend reading that one, if you're starting out.
Great books I read until now:
The 4-hour Workweek by Tim Ferriss. Is still blowing my mind!
Mastery by George Leonard. Great read if you're into the practice of any long-term built skill like playing an instrument, mastering martial arts, sports, or any art.
Rich Dad, Poor Dad by investor Robert Kiyosaki. A best-seller, and I now see why. Although some of the story is said to have been made up (= fiction), it's still a compelling story and inspired me to think really differently about money.
Mindfulness for beginners. by Jon Kabat-Zinn. One of the authorities on mindfulness. This one reads slowly, because you need time to let each page 'sink in', 'till I understood it one deeper, intuitive level.
The Power of Now, Eckhart Tolle. Might if been the first book that got me looking way different at the world around me, years ago. As did the Matrix movie... ;-)
So, I hope this gives some of you inspiration to read, learn, and grow.
Have a good day!
Maarten

Hi Maarten, thanks, not heard of all of these books, but the power of now, of Eckhart Tolle, is a real eye-opener.
I don't know if you have heard of Gregg Braden, he writes fantastic stuff too

I would personally spend this money on "content" once I get the recipe for ranking down in my niche and once I have a sound understanding of my niche.
The quickest way to scale is through content in the early stages of your business and you could build a very solid base on top of your own efforts with $2K set aside. Something that I would recommend and that you should consider.
The people that tell you that you should blow all sorts of money on your education are typically the same people that are going to ask you to blow all sorts of money on the education they are going to sell you. Just remember that.
Thanks. I totally agree with you. That is why I'm so careful in choosing the people/programs to follow.
EDIT: there's a big typo mistake I made: I did NOT enter any expensive program like the Rich Dad one. I'll edit that sentence!
