Doomed From The Start
Since I first joined Wealthy Affiliate I have had a great time with the lessons, building a website and of course the community.
However the time has come to anaylise my progress so far. I have come to the conclusion that the path I chose was doomed to fail. I believe this for a few reasons.
The first reason is the fact that I am not very intellegent. I was always average at everything at school and it has become painfully more obvious as I grew up. Secondly, while doing resarch for new things to write about I came across much better information from people a lot smarter and better equiped to help people. Thirdly my posts look like spam. This came to my attention when after I posted something on social media I recieved a comment that said "Don't post your spam here".
It is for these reasons I will be shutting down my sites and counting my losses which at the moment is about 200-300 dollars thats a lot for someone unimployed but hopefully it won't affect my life too much. Thank you all for your support. It is because of this community and my family that I won't give up on finding my place in life. And who knows I may return with a niche that I am better at and can acually help people.

It's a great shame that you are thinking of giving up your sites and I would urge you to think about it.
As far as your intelligence goes I can't comment as I am not an expert.
I can tell you though, that there are many people more intelligent than me and I guess there might be folk who think I am more intelligent than them
Guess what! That just makes me normal!
I would recommend that you always start with a niche that you are either passionate about OR passionate about learning. not necessarily a niche that forms a part of your life.
For example, I have 3 medical conditions (just greedy I guess) and I am an IT professional. However, I don't blog about any of these things. As I don't want my work or health to take control of my life.
Just an example I am not saying the same is relevant to you.
When you write you don't need to sound like the top selling authors or some expert with a doctorate you just need to sound like ANDREW.
Your family and friends listen to you so why shouldn't others. You just need to write as and be YOURSELF. I know that this can be frightening for many but people like to read things from real people.
Who would you rather listen to, your mates or someone with a Ph.D. who might not speak your language so to speak.

Let me tell you that you have had experiences in your life which has caused you to wonder about things the great documented experts have never even thought about. We can learn from the experiences you share. Education means so very little in the human scheme of things.
