How to Join and Use ClickBank
A Wealthy Affiliate member was on Live Chat today having trouble joining and using ClickBank.
I joined ClickBank many years ago as both a vendor and as an affiliate, but when I took another look at it, much had changed.
So I've put this post together to illustrate how to join ClickBank in the simplest possible fashion, bypassing the optional training etc. etc. and then getting an affiliate link for a product you want to promote as an affiliate.

Go to clickbank.com and Click the Start Here Button
Skip the Quick Start Guide
Sign up
Complete all the details and then click the Continue to Terms and Conditions button.
Accept Terms and Conditions
Click the Join ClickBank Buton.
Accept or Reject Affiliate Marketing Training
Turn Down More Stuff
Download and Accept Suppression List
At the time of writing, this appears to have a bug in it. It displayed an XML file with an error.
Just click on your browser's Back arrow.
Complete Your Profile
Save Your Profile
If everything has been filled out correctly, your ClickBank account will now be created and you can find vendor products to promote as an affiliate.
Promote Vendor Product
Go to the ClickBank marketplace and find a product to promote.
Click the Promote Button
Clicking the Promote button creates what ClickBank calls a Hoplink. This is the affiliate link that you will insert into your blog post or landing page. You can, of course, substitute a Pretty Link for the actual hoplink.
Disclaimer
I was astounded at how complex ClickBank seems to have made what was once a dead simple process.
I made this step by step process as simple as possible by turning down all of ClickBank's offers of free training, joining their FaceBook group and so on. You may, of course choose to implement any of these that you wish.

Yeah, Clickbank got kinda clunky.
Skip all the offers, and head into the Marketplace, which will appear in yhe left hand column on your dashboard.
I would love to hear from other CB users about their CB journey, successes and tips they've learned...

Very clunky. I considered making this into training but just had too much other stuff to do and a blog post is quicker. Maybe I should do it as training too, when I've got a moment. What do you think?
This would be valuable as there may not be many CB trainings. that are up to date..
Plus, it would be easier to digest, as you have quite abit of info. By sharing this on separate pages, you can break it up into sections.
