When did I become a blogger?
I haven’t been so engrossed into something since I don’t know when! When I came across WA, I believe I was researching “working from home” jobs.
Working 16 yrs as a Pharmacy Technician is exhausting. Hospital and Retail. Long days. Wasn’t such a big deal until my husband and I had 2 kids. You miss out on a lot of precious moments when they are young working long days.
This is why I decided to give WA an honest try. I thought i would be just an affiliate marketer, however; I’m quickly learning that you need much more than just some links to post to bring the traffic to your page! Wealthy Affiliate has taught me so much already and I still have so much to learn. I feel like the most frustrating part so far is learning how to get the themes to work. I look at the preview and like it, but when I apply it, it doesn't work the same. I look, and look, and press this and that, it doesn't seem to work. I did find one that is working for the moment. I still have a lot of tweaking to do to get it the way I like, but with the help of WA I know I will get there! thank you WA for all you do for us!

Maybe try a very basic theme? I just use Generate 2022. Your content is most important, Simple means people will spend more time on your main offering. Too much else takes away from that.
NO one is perfect....but it is certainly nice to learn about the intangibles & family.........which is priceless!!
Hi Kellie,
You are by a long way not the only one to be frustrated with themes!
They look so complete and professional in the previews, but when you apply them, you often get a bland looking plain template that needs a lot of customising to make them look anything like the preview!
To be fair, it does get easier with practice and adding images and playing around with the fonts and the menus and so on does make things look better.
What theme are you using at the moment?
Best wishes
John
A theme is just a lens that your site is viewed through, so you can try out different themes at any time. However, no theme will look like its preview until you have fleshed it out with content.

Keep at it, Kellie. I am sure it will pay off. Blessed Be. :)
