I'm back
To all who can appreciate my blogs: I am back from a week in the hospital. (Certainly nothing serious). From now on I will fly back into it.
Honor
After Huawei has sold their smartphone brand to Honor, the latter now also decide to produce more expensive smartphones for the middle and upper class. Under Huawei, Honor mainly made budget smartphones. Honor has been sold to a consortium of thirty parties, in which Huawei has no business interests. That way, the company hoped Honor would not be subject to US sanctions.
Loon / Alphabet
Alphabet, Google's parent company, is shutting down the Loon company. This company produced internet balloons to offer an alternative for the increasing telecom masts. Loon announced this via a message on their blog service Medium. By using large weather balloons equipped with mobile antennas, they could also access areas with poor or no internet connection.
Google / Australia
Google is not satisfied with the fact that they should pay when news links are clicked. At least that's what Australia wants. Therefore, as of today, Google's search engine would be discontinued in Australia. This was reported by Google CEO Mei Silva in the Australian Senate. Google would not be able to calculate the financial risk if this legislation were applied.
Former President Donald Trump's account was suspended from Facebook. Now a new, independent Facebook supervisory board has to decide what else to do with that account. Nick Clegg, CEO at Facebook, wrote this in a blog post on Thursday.

I think so too ... I also have a lot of bills, but I can't pay them because I have very few hugs ...
