Six Months Already? With a Badge? Wow!
6 months Already? with a Badge? Wow!
The WA community is too engaging that one can even forget about time! Thanks very much friends, it's you who make thinks happen this way.
It was today, six months ago when I first pressed the "Go Premium" Button. It has been amazing so far. I created my first free website six months ago, after sometime I transfered it to a purchased domain. I continued to work at posting every week. With excitement, eagerness and joy.
Step by step I have seen my websites get ranked in search engines, start driving traffic in my Google Analytics. I haven't made any sale so far but I see the path getting brighter each day. This wouldn't happen had it not been for your strengthening words.
Mistakes in My First Six MonthsBeing human, setbacks came in. I started to wonder should I quit? when will I reap? To temper my high expectations with reality, i researched in the community, after sometime and reading many post from fellow members, I realized that to gain success, expectations have to meet reality. The way we respond determines our outlook.
Many times we gauge success with tangible results like money, fame, and more. However, success depends on your goal. What were the reasons for your opening an online business? Whatever your reasons, Businesses need income. However, to reach that point, there are steps you need to take.
Which steps I skipped. For example, I jumped and joined the Amazon Associate program without traffic. Sadly, my last month on that program is this November and I haven't made any sale. So don't make the same mistake. Take those steps first before thinking about monetizing your website.
Steps like taking your WA lessons, buying a domain, creating content, building your business, and driving traffic to your business. With enough traffic, you can monetize your website. But the truth is the tendency to skip the steps is common, we climb a ladder from the top ( which is unrealistic of course.)
So, have you taken the steps? are you creating content? is it ranking? Look at those small accomplishments as small success' that will lead you to your ultimate success - Income.
I want to say thank you a million times friends. Please continue to offer such help to newbies since out expectations always tend to surpass reality. That way, meeting reality will not only give us a push but remind us that effort, time, and patience are required for a successful online business.
Am glad to be here and I will be here to stay until I succeed in my online business. Wish you the best of success fellow members. I'll let you know of my next badge.

Congrats! Onward and upward. I am glad that you shared your experience. It helps new members to follow the training.
Thank you for such a wise post, it reminded me to just keep going. I seem to get easily stuck which surprises me, although I have my other work to complete too. It keeps being helpful, supportive to me thought to read other's experience, which of course is why Kyle and Carson set it up this way! I wish you only continuing progress and realisation of your first and much-more-to-come income!

Hi Patience,
Happy 6 mth WAnniversary, it is great to see that members such as yourself are staying consistent and continue to press forward.
Don't be to concerned about the Amazon Associates if they give you the boot, just reapply 95% of times they will take you right back.
I think they have that clause in their agreement just so they don't end up with website posting/having links that are no longer active, makes them look bad.
Here's to continued success,
Calvin
