"Chop sticks"
Quick story
I was told a short story not too long ago.
A man had a dream that he had died and found himself in hell. He saw people starving as they were given one meter chop sticks to eat with. No one was allowed to eat with there hands. The man observed as people became weak and some laying stiff due to starvation. But just as the sight was becoming overwhelming the man was swicked into heaven in a blink of an eye.
To his surprise the same rules applied in heaven of eating with the one meter chop sticks and not with hands. But to his greater surprise no one was starving. One would pick food with the chop sticks and feed the next person and that person would do the same. In the end all were feed to satisfaction.
Moral of the story!!!
I can't be self sufficient, I need you, not just for me to survive but to advance. And you need me as well, even if it may look like we have nothing in common or you may feel insignificant.

It will bug you and pester you all night long. Anyway, I need you just as you need me!!!!!

As far as the proverb is concerned, I think that it applies not just to the mosquito but also the fly. I have had experiences with both.
Both are allowed to leave and are shown the way out.
