let me introduce you to: https://ifttt.com Which stands for "If this then do that!"

If you ever wondered how those big companies are handling social media, this is their secret!

I love it when stuff goes automaticly and I keep getting twitter followers because of this simple trick. Also people seem to put my tweets in their favorites and retweet it sometimes.

Before you do this you have to decide what you want to promote on auto pilot. I choose to do this. When people click that link a custom signup form will pop up.

I am assuming you know how to set that up, otherwise there are plenty of tutorials telling you how to do that.

Step 1: Create free account at IFTTT (seriously)

This is a tweet I made with that site and it will be tweeted every friday at 2 AM (Los Angeles time)

Step 2: When you logged into IFTT you have to click on create recipe or my recipes and then create recipe.

Step 3: If it is this date or time

search for 'time' and then the date&tiime channel will show up. You have to activate it. The cool thing is that you can set this channel to any timezone you want.

Step 4: Post on social media

Choose the social media platform you want to use. And write what will be send out whith your link, and maybe a picture.

You're done!

Now if you really want to know, today almost all social media platforms and other sites as well have an API. This is just a dictionary for that specific website that people can use.

Now that API is very complicated but thanks to sites like IFTTT it's made easy for everyone.

Now there also are premium services that can be used in this way (like Paypal) but that's done by other sites and you have to pay for that.

Once you get the hang of this you will make a lot of these recipe's and make them trigger each other: Example: 1 recipe maybe will post a tweet on a certain channel. Because that happened another recipe is triggered to post a tweet on Facebook and I think you get the idea ;)

This works with Wordpress as well.

I don't like the dact that the site sets limits on how many social accounts you connect to Twitter or Facebook.

You will have to make multiple accounts on IFTTT to handle more then 1 account on a social media platform.

2 ways to make that easy (just thought of the last one)

1: make more Gmails

2: Premium members at WA can ake as many emails as they want. So I suggest making redirects to 1 email account.

example: ifttt@YourDomain.com and then redirect to another email.
