Hi, WA teaches that we should seek out keywords that have low volume but low compettion as well. These are keywords that have little competition so, in theory, should be easier

Google says 1000 words, Kyle/Carson say 1500.

Thanks for getting in touch,appreciate the reply. Would you be looking at 1500 words if the keyword was an obscure term with little or no competition and search volume under 50 a month?

Yes. Google wants long content for SEO, however, I'm not always sure that readers do. It's best to mix things up and try to hit the 1000 word average.

Yes, that sounds like a decent amount of content for the average post - of course, if the subject requires 2k words then 2k words it would be I suppose!
