I wonder how many ads from Google Adsense that you can place in a blog? Do you need to install it in every post?
If you put an Adsense ad in a widget then your visitors will see different ads on each post or page. The maximum number of ads permitted by Adsense is 3 on a page.
Does that mean if I install Adsense in the widget, then I do not have to insert individual Adsense hyperlink in each post?
Yes, if you are using Wordpress.
I use Quick Adsense plugin. So I don't have to insert the Adsense code individually into each article.
You can test the settings the way how you like.
You insert the Adsense code in the boxes provided by the plugin. You can assign by clicking/checking the section where you want the ads to appear.
If I remember correctly, you can't place more than 3 Ads per webpage.
This means, if you have 1 in the sidebar, you can insert 2 in every post. Or, if you have 1 in the sidebar and another 1 in the header, than you can only insert 1 in every post.
Unless your website is focused on Advertising revenue, it may be a good idea to not placing too many ads. You can get more revenue from affiliate links or selling your own product, rather than focusing the visitors to "leave your website" with the ads.
Cheers,
Ferdinand
In my experience, 3 ad units plus the link units format.
I added 1 link unit below or above my article
I'm not sure how many link units they allow.
Link units are the ones that look like in topical format. They are ads without description.
When you add the link units (vertical) in the sidebar they look like your site's categories.
