Here's my personal recap of the live class on "Creating an Effective UGC (User-Generated Content) Strategy" and what stood out to me.

The Ultimate Goal: Encourage Interaction

The primary objective of a UGC strategy is to get people to interact with your content. This can be achieved by creating engaging content that sparks conversations and encourages audience participation.

Understanding Your Audience

Knowing your target demographic is crucial in creating an effective UGC strategy. Understanding their interests, preferences, and pain points helps you create content that resonates with them.

Creating Controversy and Incentives

One way to encourage interaction is to create controversy through your blog post. This can be done by asking thought-provoking questions or presenting an unconventional perspective. Additionally, offering incentives can motivate people to engage with your content.

Monetizing Your Content

You can monetize your blog post by adding ads to it, which can help you recoup your marketing budget. Additionally, boosting your Facebook post can increase its reach and engagement.

The Facebook Campaign Strategy

Here's a step-by-step guide to creating a Facebook campaign that encourages interaction:

1. Upload a high-quality image that grabs attention.
2. Create engaging content for your Facebook post, and consider using tools like Chat GPT to help you write it.
3. Add relevant hashtags to increase the post's discoverability.
4. Comment on the post with a link to your blog post, but avoid putting the link in the post content itself.
5. Create a Facebook boost to increase the post's reach and engagement.
6. Choose "Get more engagement" as the goal of the boost.
7. Turn off "Advantage creative".
8. Choose "No button".
9. Set your target audience, considering factors like age, interests, and behaviors.
10. Choose the duration of the campaign
11. Turn off "Advanced placements".

This is some really good stuff to create an effective UGC strategy that encourages interaction, drives engagement, and ultimately, helps you achieve engagement goals.

Thanks Jay.

P.S. - Idea: Since I am in the Digital Marketing Niche I had an idea of creating a post Social Media or a Website which one is better.

Will work on that and let the WA Family know how it goes.

Okay WA Family, that is what stood out me.

Thanks for the summary! Got to watch the replay.

Your welcome. Thanks for the shout out.

I love the idea of not putting a link in the post itself but rather in the the comment. I am curious on what that comment would look like. Very interesting class Pastor. Thanks for reiterating what Jay presented.
