Have you recently attended a job interview? How did you feel meeting the interview panels? Attending a job interview can be very challenging and nerve racking feeling. Despite the fact that you want to secure a job and this is the opportunity to show what you have and can do, pressure comes in. Regardless of your qualifications and abilities, you may feel anxious and nervous.

Why do you feel this way? You may wonder: may be to meet up with the interviewers expectations, or may be because of the pressure to perform well.

Yes. It is normal to be stressful and nervous at this point as you want to succeed. To combat this stressful feeling, it can be helpful to be positive and know your worth.

There are some tips to further help you to prepare for this occasion.

Depending on the kind of job you applied for, your dressing should always match the dressing code for the company. Be neat, and be presentable.

Preparation for an interview is very important. When getting ready for an interview, try to anticipate questions interviewers may ask.

Research the company you are willing to work for , and plan out answers you will feel comfortable giving.

It is also very good to cultivate a conversation skills. To be able to have good relationship with this potential employer, good communication is important. On this occasion, you will need to discuss not only your interests but of the potential employer too.

Ask insightful questions. This will also show that you are well prepared and that you have interest in the role and the company.

This employer might also have to reference you, and do other research about you. They may be able to discern your motives. On the other hand, if you're not honest , you will undermine your credibility and the chances to be employed.

Remember the reason why you applied for this job, so improve your chances to be employed. Be honest in the answers you give to the interview panels.

Let interviews help you to showcase your skills and personality. When next you have one, try to approach it with confidence and a positive mindset. Just visualise it when you're contacted after the interview and you succeed. The nerves and anxiety, as well as the preparation would have paid off.

It must be a least 20 years since I last had a job interview though my friend! :-)

Some good info, my friend, but I've had my own business for 32 years. I would be very raw at an interview at this point! Thanks for the excellent share!
