Just ONE niche? Aaargh!
Okay, just completed the lesson on niches - understanding them, picking your niche,etc....
So here was my thinking before the lesson. "Well, my combined experiences, competencies, talents and passions gave me four BROAD areas of interest"
- Fitness and Sports
- The Performing Arts
- Adult Education
- Non Profits
Not having any ideas for a niche? NOT MY PROBLEM!!
Having too many ideas, not being specific, loving the space of having "tons of options and not having to choose'? YEAH, THAT SOUNDS LIKE ME! That is exactly like yours truly, for real...
Funny - I wonder how many people had this problem when it came to picking their niche? I wonder how many of you lean towards overthinking and getting "too philosphical" with processes like this. I certainly do!
Which is why I'll step away tonight, come back refreshed tomorrow morning and follow Kyle's advice on picking a niche. I get it, it's not that complicated, just got that INFP personality that can make every small transaction a quest for the meaning of life... :)

Just remember this Toju, your first niche does not need to be your last. You just need a starting point and over time, you will likely be involved in many niches.
You just don't want to overwhelm yourself when starting out and I always like to emphasize the point that you only need ONE niche to be very successful online.
It is so very true and with 3 billion people online and spending only continuing to grow within the online world with every year that passes, the opportunity only grows in every niche.
My problem was deciding on which niche to focus on for my first. Then deciding the angle I would use in my website.
You're right on the money with this comment. It works in every task you are having difficulty with. Step away and when you return, things will be so clear.
