i just get mine domain yesterday from namecheap.com for just $9.87. i am please i have it.

My 50 cents:
Put an easy number before it:
100identitytheftprotection.com $ 2.99
101 the same
7identitytheftprotection.com $ 8.99
I personally like it more than extra letters.
No .com:
identitytheftguard.info
identitytheftsecurity.org.

At the end it's content that wins!

What do you mean by their not being allowed? Were they already registered?

That first URL has a typo (an extra "n" in the word "protection"). That extra letter could make it appear to be available while the correct spelled name may not be.

I am having a hard time getting a domain name that is not ?

You won't get a dot.com domain in any niche without purchasing it...
