I know for a fact that once you get home at the end of a shift, all you really have time for is having a shower, eating a decent meal, and sleeping till you go through it all again the next day. Spending time with loved ones is exceptionally hard. Trust me, I know, as I’ve been there.

Being a trucker is actually a nice job. However, there are some drawbacks. The hours are anti-social and extremely long, with no time for anything at all. This sort of work was not financially satisfying enough for the hours I was trying to put in, and as a father and husband, my work-life balance continued to suffer. It got to the point where I said, “Enough!”

I couldn’t just leave my job because I had bills to pay, so I had to scour the internet using the most common Google searches, including “Make Extra Money On The Side,” “Earn An Additional Income,” and “Quit Your Day Job Living The Laptop Lifestyle!”

We’ve all been there, and I’ll say it again: I share your pain. Sadly for me, I fell victim to the new toy syndrome at the time, being duped by many gurus who promised me that I’d be earning a profit in 10 minutes and would be able to give up my job in a month. How silly was I?

I tried a variety of schemes, including some that were legitimate, such as Forex trading, Network Marketing, Crypto, Surveys, Teaching, Virtual Assistant, and eBay selling. All of these ideas and efforts did not bear fruit and were discarded.

You don’t have to carry on living like this.

I had to cope with my wife’s scepticism because she thought I was wasting my energy because of my previous ventures, but after finding Affiliate Marketing, I told her that of all of the previous businesses I tried, none of them made me feel the way Affiliate Marketing did. I faced the same stress from other family members and friends, but I was able to persuade them to believe what I was doing.

That process needs far more time and hassle, and I do not suggest it. Wealthy Affiliate is a far superior option. But, in the end, you must decide how to obtain it. Just keep in mind that you’ll need to learn a lot of new things to really be successful in this industry.
