Still here
After the knee replacement surgery during the last year, I sort of become overwhelmed with all the projects I had started. So decided to finish some of them, starting with getting the home brewing system I had designed, built and operational.
Well, that project is complete and the system is operational. I'll be posting to my website a photo documentation of that build as soon as I sort through the hundreds of photos I took during the build sorted.
I had a Walk-in cooler stored in my backyard that required assembly Which required a cement slab framed and in place first, project complete and cooling my beer.
I had a problem with my Brew House, due to not placing enough support under it. So I dug out a hole on one end of the brew house down to four foot mark and then tunneled under it for ten teet. poured a couple concrete slabs. Got a couple short steel columns, buildup a 6 x 6 joist from 2 x 6's to place on top of the columns, let the buildind back down. Project done.
With a waterline already run to the Brew house, and plumbing inside to a stainless steel sink, I needed a way to dispose of the waste water. My solution, before closing the hole I had dug to start the tunneling, place a 55 gallon plastic barrel in hole (drilled many holes in bottom first) to use as a dry well. Waste water drained into dry well and eventually that water gets absorbed into the ground below. There is a sump pump in the barrel to get rid of excess water. Project complete.
As some of you may remember from previous posts, I enjoy working with wood and have a pretty nice wood working shop, however being the kind of guy that never throws anything away, like strips of wood or left over material from a previous project, I got to the point I had no room to work in my shop. Solution - add a lean-to type building behind the shop to store the scrap lumber and other materials, which I did. Project complete
Project not completed. Brewing Website and Affiliate Website. Not making any money yet) Since it has been a little over a year since I posted anything on the Brewing website and noting to the Affiliate website, so, in order to come up to speed again, I'm starting from scratch with all the training provided here.
Also, I need to answer all the comments that were left on the websites.
I'm back and still above ground. I'll post often with my progress.
