Thanks For The Follow!- What I Got Out Of It.
So why am i writing right now about thanking all of you for following me? Well, first off i didn't catch on until about the fourth or fifth person commenting on my profile "thanks for the follow" that it was even a "thing" here. So the first 30 or so people that started following me i didn't say anything.
I have started to understand that for this to place to work like it does, the members connecting and communicating with each other regularly is vital. The more i think about it, i realize that i too am now a member of this community and for all the help I've received thus far, i owe it to the community to play my role as an active and engaging member. For me being a beginner, i believe i can do that by just connecting with those who choose to follow me and by doing my best to connect with the suggested two people every time i get help. However, the reality is that for me to do that for every question i had, id be spending more time commenting on others comments than actually doing work, so with that im sticking with those who choose to follow me.
i should say, for me reaching out to people to say hi and chat it up for no reason is not something im great at, but i can get good at it with practice. That being said, brings me to my reason for writing this. It's not usually my "thing" but today was actually a great experience for me. I took the time to read each "about me" section. I have learned many things about members of my network, to include a little background, goals and even some adversity that they have experienced. For me hearing these things automatically tugged at my need to encourage people not to give up, to move on and keep striving for their goals and by doing this i experienced something i had not anticipated. it felt like i was gaining that encouragement myself by givin it out. i mean if all these people have gone through all these things, some similar to mine as well as some of the goals as well, i can overcome and succeed as well.

Hey Ilina. I also noticed how important it seems to be within WA for members to interact in a way that helps and encourages one another. That is one reason that I was drawn here. However, to make it work, we each must do our part. What really stands out for me is how the community as a whole shares in and supports the successes of each member. Petty jealousy is absent from the mix. I like that.
so far so good, i haven't experienced that and it is nice:) the willing support from members by members just for the act of helping another learn is in my opinion, the best part of WA. A BIG shout out to Kyle and Carson for facilitating that type of atmosphere for us in the first place.
You are doing a great job of catching on to all the new things! Keep on and it will all get easier.
