Stop and put the selfies down!

It's time to stop and put the selfies down. In our selfie-obsessed culture, we've become more preoccupied with capturing the perfect shot than enjoying the present moment. We're missing out on real experiences because we're too busy trying to curate an idealized version of ourselves for social media.

When we constantly document our lives through selfies, we can lose touch with reality and become disconnected from genuine human connections. Instead of experiencing life, we're too preoccupied with portraying a carefully crafted image online. It's important to remember that life is happening right now, in front of us, not just through the camera's lens.

By putting down the selfies, we open ourselves up to truly living in "The present moment," which refers to the current time, and we must permit ourselves to be fully present and engaged. Our surroundings and connect with others on a deeper level. So, let's stop prioritizing external validation through likes and comments and start prioritizing real experiences and meaningful connections beyond a perfectly posed picture.

Merry Christmas!

Cheers,
Maria 🎄

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

A profile with nothing but selfies can be a little much, true, but sometimes those selfies are a reflection of progress that person has made or is making, and they're documenting it, even if just for themselves, and even if we don't quite understand it. 👍🏼

I've realized, in the big picture, what does it matter to me what someone else does, right? :)
Hope you have a great holiday!

Have a Great Holiday too!

I've visited social pages where an individual posts selfie after selfie after selfie... I believe they are indeed seeking validation from others, and that is sad if it is true. Beauty is fleeting. Life is fleeting. Be who you are. Love who you are.
