How/Why/When I use each Social Network

This is a How/Why/When post about Social Networks. At the end of the post, I will mention those that I want to put to "Share Only" mode.

Social Network: Facebook

How I am Using it?

• Sharing links from my websites

Why I am Using it?

• To promote my websites
• To contact with businesses in my location

When I am Using it?

• A few minutes/day

Social Network: Twitter

How I am Using it?

• Sharing Links from my websites

Why I am Using it?

• To promote my websites

When I am Using it?

• A few minutes/day

Social Network: Instagram

How I am Using it?

• Commenting in photos , even if they're not related to my niche, just in hope someone will notice my linktree
• I scroll for no more than 2' in each session. If I don't find something interesting, then I close the app.

Why I am Using it?


• To promote my linktree
• To contact with businesses in my location
• To get informed about any new apps around my location
• To get informed about any current events taking place around my region

When I am Using it?

• 30'/day. Sometimes more

Social Network: TikTok

How I am Using it?

• Posting content related to my niche on a daily basis
• I post random videos, even not much related to my content just in order to not lose momentum.
• I comment on various videos, and I have a high engagement rate.

Why I am Using it?


• To promote my linktree
• I have the biggest number of followers compared to other Social Networks
• To get informed about any new apps around my location
• I strongly believe that one day, TikTok will even surpass Instagram, and it will be the main Social Media. I mean, Instagram is copying TikTok lately, and even the almost two decades old YouTube does.
• I invested a lot of time on it, since the winter of 2019. Since then I believed that this app is the future, and even businesses will post their content there, and not on the "serious" Facebook. Something that happens already~

When I am Using it?

• 2 hrs/day on average

So essentially, I focus more on TikTok. Then on Instagram, and on the 3rd and 4th place I'd put Facebook and Twitter. I take TikTok more seriously and I see it more like a business, than an entertainment platform as it's been often accused. I strongly believe in the power of TikTok. Instagram would be my second favorite, since it's simpler to use and I already have a considerable amount of followers. Particularly about 1300 on Instagram, and about 15100 on TikTok.

So, I'd definitel choose Facebook and Twitter to put in the Share Mode only. I believe Facebook has done its circle, and it's on its last legs now. It will collapse sooner or later, just like the once popular MySpace. As for Twitter I was never big on it, I was always finding an utter mess.

Anyway, don't take for granted my last paragraph about Facebook. Nobody can predict the future accurately. There was even a time when they believed that internet was just a trend, and now it's essential!
