Task Manager
Hello Waers,
Task Manager is an important tool for all Window users. This is the tool that will show you why the computer is slow and it will help you to do some actions for those programs that drain your CPU, RAM, disk, and network resources.
Task Manager can be opened in three ways.
Keyboard Shortcut : Press CTRL + SHIFT + ESC
Mouse Shortcut : Place your cursor on an empty space on your taskbar and right click it.
Traditional Method : Press CTRL + ALT + Delete
When you are closing a program manually in your computer, there is still a possibility that is is running in the background, it could possibly use 99% of your CPU resources and it is not good when you are working on something. You can kill that program by going to the "Processes" tab in the Task Manager, Right click the program and click on "END PROCESS TAB" to end the process and you will see the difference in the performance of your computer.
Task Manager will help you also if you re having issues on your Internet connection. It will allow you to see if there are programs running in the background and eating up your network connection.
If you have issues when starting your computer, use the Task Manager and click on Start Up tab to see which program is automatically starting when you turn on your computer, click the program and click "Disable". It does not mean you will lose the program, you can go back and start it manually.

Appreciate dropping by and I thought this is one tool that will help us to get disappointed with our machine. My machine is old, 7 years old but since knowing this tool, it's running like new.

Cortana will put itself back on after you try to "end the process". I find this very creepy.
You can disable it. Point your cursor on Cortana, right click and click on "Hidden icon". Hope it helps.
