Hello all. This is the part where I wish I had the gift of gab.
I'm at the part where I'm building site and thinking of content for the site. I'm not what you'd call a good conversationalist. How to fill pages of content if you feel you have nothing to say?

Thank you for the follow and glad to be a part of your network. I am like you when I was just starting here, not knowing what to write. The keyword tool is a very good helper, search for keywords relevant to your niche and there are keywords that will come up, be sure the keyword has more than 50 searches and below 300 hundred competition. You will be able to write content around that by searching the Internet.
Good luck and wish you all the best.

Thanks so much! Although I am new to these tools and I'm not sure what you mean by the keyword must have more than 50 searches and less than 300 competition.

For you to know, what I mean, on the left side of your screen, look for the Keyword Tool with the magnifying glass icon, click it, and the keyword research will appear and play around it.

Hey there, thanks for following me, I follow you back. I am curious with what you will come up. You think you have nothing to say? Don't believe everything you think and feel! What are you talking about with your friends, what is really interesting you? Animals? (frogs?), what do you love to do in your free time? Then just start to talk about that with somebody and have your audio recorder capture it. Then begin to write it down - blogpost is done....

I just added a comment to your site. I would be happy if you leave one on my site : http://my-cat.org. I LOVE cats - and that's why I chose this topic. And I find I can talk about them quite a lot.
I wish you find a similar topic for yourself

Thanks Heidi! Great advice. Your site is very extensive. I left a comment. I love cats and enjoyed your site.

Thank you a lot!
I am wondering sometimes who is the person writing a comment here on WA - and if they are on WA at all. What name did you use for the comment?
As a cat-lover: would you like to write something for the site?

It will be a while before I get to the as I have several other paintings I am working on. But, when I do, I'll add a few words as well.

Hello Kimberly ... thank you for the follow. It's sad, but I think you might be right. I wonder how many members still working for someone else (large or small company down to a company of 2 ... you and the boss) feel the same way.

I sort of brain washed myself at some positions I have held in the past that my contribution to the enterprise was so important I really didn't have a boss. Fortunately some of these bosses didn't act like the boss to me ... more like we were partners.

So I understand your feelings. When the permanence of a company is in someone else's hands the possibility of needing to seek another job or position is always there.

You are in the best place you could possibly be, short of winning the Lotto, to eliminate that feeling forever. I wish you the best on your WA journey.

Kimberly, I see you are making some good progress through the Affiliate Bootcamp. Just wanted to pop by and see if you need a hand with anything?

I also wanted to mention the success rates of Bootcamp. Absolutely everyone that has taken action on all of the phases of Bootcamp has a business that is generating consistent income online. MANY of these folks are going to be at our super affiliate conference next year.

I want this to be you and I want you to succeed with your promotions. So, please promise me that if you ever need a hand or feel stuck as you move forward, that you will get in touch with me!

Trust me, I know things can be a little overwhelming sometimes and I don't want you feeling like that.

Anyways, just checking in. Get back at me if you need anything Kimberly.

Wow, Thanks! Thanks for checking in. My progress has been slowed by my family and job situation. My father just passed away, I took a temp position as an admin assistant because money is tight and the art I need to get done for both a commission and a second site I am planning needs to get done so, my schedule is not yet conducive to steadily work on the first site as I had intended when I first joined. And honestly, going through a bit of depression makes it hard to concentrate. I steal some time to work on it when I can and work through the videos and read the blogs that other members post. I am enjoying the program and the people in it. This community is great and I'm grateful to be able to work at whatever pace I can manage. It's a comfort to know I can re watch anything if I didn't quite get it the first time or if I need to pick up where I left off.
Again, Thanks for checking in, If I run into any insurmountable snags, I'll definitely hit you up.
:-)

Sorry to hear about your situation and all you have been through in recent months Kimberly. What I don't want you to do is put unneeded pressure on yourself.

Work at your own pace, this is definitely not a race and as you move through the training you are going to see some really good progress. I always say, as long as you are moving forward you are moving in the right direction. :)

As you start to see progress and results, you will naturally dedicate more time to your business, but I can absolutely assure you that with some hard work and dedication here, you are going to see results.

If you need anything going forward, let me know.

Hello PaletteJunky, thanks for following me! I know what you mean about trying to think of content, I got stuck at that part of the training also. I even bought a second domain name, from WA this time, because I realized I didn't know enough about my first niche (Science Toys for Kids). My new domain / niche is My Dream Home Office. I know I can write about that if I really put my mind to it. I looked at your website; you've made a good start with a few posts that are well written and have plenty to say. The post about learning about domains the hard way will probably be a little confusing for newbies, but I think it's good to leave it in because it's honest, and shows that everyone makes mistakes while learning, and actually, making mistakes is one of the best ways to learn. You could edit that post to make it clearer for newbies who don't know anything about buying domains. I'm not going the Affiliate Bootcamp route at this time, but I'm sure many other WA members who have a site promoting WA have good ideas for content. If you ever wanted to do another niche site, it looks from your profile photo that you love hang gliding (if that's what you're doing, it looks like it). Hang gliding could be a great niche! Of course there are many sites about it, but you could look at those and come up with something original. Best wishes, Amanda

Hello Kimberly,

I just want to welcome you to W.A. and to thank you for the follow which I am reciprocating.

Reading some of the other comments you've received, a lot of wise people have given good advice and tips on how to overcome that feeling of having nothing worthwhile to say.

You are not alone and many of us have gone through what you are going through now, but it is my conviction that all that will change as you become used to communicating here on W.A.. We are all writers in the making, welcome to the family!

As is often repeated here, "content is key" and you will soon find that you can find inspiration in literally anything. I personally find that walking starts to prime the thinking juices and I pick up many ideas to blog about in this way.

Best wishes for your future success,
kind regards,
~Arthur

Hi Kimberley, Welcome! Nice to meet you, I wish you a lot of learning pleasure and fun on WA. Thank you for following me.

From the start I have written training for every issue I had problems with myself. I also made a checklist with 25 points to go through before you publish a post, 101 blogging ideas when you get stuck and an A-Z WA dictionary. It has been very helpful to a lot of people. You can find them on my profile on the right under training (click on my picture). I hope to help you with those.

If you have any questions, please add a comment to this message or leave them on my profile.
Success building your business in 2016. See you around, Greetings Loes

"How to fill pages of content if you feel you have nothing to say"

1. Read books (do you have a library in your town?) and blogs of topics you're interested in. And write in your own words, what you've learned from the authors. Set an affiliate link to the books.

2. Join the Affilate Bootcamp and write about your Wealthy Affiliate Experience. What you learn and do everyday here. In the beginning you write more for yourself, to get some content into your posts and pages. But have in mind your future visitors and inspire them to take an interesting journey to success like yours.

Thanks DJ-Yogi. I'll be going through as much as I can as fast as I can. (confession, I'm not that fast) I'm guessing that if I'm diligent and write at least one small thing a day, it will become a habit. Once it's a habit it will come easier. Wish me luck.

Hello and a warm welcome to WA. I'm sure you are enjoying your time here and I wish you the best of success as you move forward.

To answer your question, think and start in smaller chunks of who, what, why, when and where. For instance in your profile, you have talked about who you are, so now you can think about 'what' you want to do or 'what' brought you here, 'why' you want to do it,' when' you decided this would be a good option for you or 'where" you will work on it, and 'where' you want to go with it.

Hope that helps and thank you for the follow as well.

~Debra

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Get back to me when you get the chance! :)

I'm so impressed with this site and this community. My plans are to go through the bootcamp and join the WA affiliate program. I have only two other ideas that are dear to my heart. One is art, I've looked up one possible affiliate opportunity for art supplies and the other idea is a blog for gout sufferers, of which I am one. During my brief research for a niche here I've learned some things I didn't even know and would feel good about warning others of some the dangers associated with this condition. But first things first. I'm vowing to myself not to spread my attention out too thinly. Going to make a success out of one first. Then branch out to just the two others. Your thoughts?

Glad to know that you are impressed with the platform. I am sure that you will learn a lot, meet many new people and reach your goals.

Yes, I agree, it is best to focus on one thing at a time. I would suggest you pick the niche that you will be able to write a lot about. The beginning is always the hardest since it takes a bit of hard work to write content, get indexed and traffic. Always easier to pick a topic that you will not only be able to write about but also enjoy doing it. Nothing can be more frustrating when you know you have to add to your blog and have no ideas. It sounds like you already have lots of knowledge about Gout and anxious to learn even more, I would say that it would be a good niche to start with. In addition, the competition is not as high, and you will most likely make progress much faster.

A successful website always belongs to a person with a passion about the topic (niche). Much easier to write about stuff you know, love or feel strong about, than to write about the unknown. Obviously, once your site ranks, get traffic and make a couple of sales, you can then move on to the next one.

Like always, please do not hesitate to shout if you need advice or get stuck, will do my best to help.
