The art of waiting
The last few weeks I didn't write.
I was telling myself I was really busy in my 'out of the screen' life, which I was.
It took me some time and harsh self-talk to admit that wasn't really the thing.
The true was - I was stuck and didn't know how to move forward.
What was really great, I realize now, was that all the words and posts I have read here about this situation kept bubbling up. It helped me stay tuned to wanting to write again. To not get too discouraged, and then I knew what I had to do:
I waited.
Waiting is really hard when I want to DO. Many times I can't wait and then I find myself doing things that are not helping at all. Sometimes even harming.
I waited but kept looking for an idea to come.
And it did :)
So today I sat and wrote again. It felt great.
Thank you all.

I'm so happy to hear that your writing groove has returned Nirit!
It happens to us all at times!
Best of luck with your future writing and success my friend!
I know what you mean, Nirit, but fortunately for me, I have so many things going on at different times in my various business enterprises that I simply move on to something else until my muse re-ignites or the solution to whatever problem I am experiencing comes to me! I hope you simply push forward no matter what!
Enjoy your day!
Jeff
I am simply saying I already have other things going--eBay store, Book writing, my locksmith service (30 years in Nov), among other things. If there is not anything else you can focus on when the writing muse is temporarily absent, then you might consider at least one other, Nirit!

Hey Nirit very glad that you have regained your groove for writing. Looking forward to seeing what next comes out.

You are not alone Nirit. The trick is not to lose heart and to keep going.
Wish you the best in your business.
Yeah. You are right. I realized by waiting not only did a new idea for a post came to me, but a whole better understanding of how I want to move forward. The waiting turned out to be worth it :)
Thank you.
